First, let me say the staff was top tier. I had absolutely no issues with how we were greeted or treated during our stay. From the front desk staff upon check-in, the breakfast staff, etc. everyone was pleasant and helpful.
Now, the accommodations were EXTREMELY disappointing! My room had to be changed THREE TIMES. The first room that I was assigned had not been cleaned properly and there was old food in the refrigerator. The second room that I was reassigned to did not have a working/functioning toilet and the THIRD room that I was moved to did not have the blackout blinds installed so I had to put a bedsheet over the window for privacy. Due to the hotel (and surrounding hotels) in the area being sold-out, I had no other recourse but to stay there as I was traveling from out of town. Also, being that I prepaid for this accommodation, there was no way for the staff to comp any portion of my stay. They did however, offer breakfast as an apology for the inconveniences. I would probably never stay at this hotel again, but the wonderful people who work there made it tolerable.
