Very good hotel

Very nice staff and nice location ~ it's located on the Main Street. A bit far from train station but taxi from station to hotel is only 4 Pounds. Also, breakfast is very good here! Lots of choices and very English!

We had a lovely stay, a tiny point was our window didnt open, although luckily we were supplied with a fan. A minor point though. The hotel was so central , we had a great break.

No lift and long journey if you are on top floor

Only problem I had was our room was 2 flights up then down another flight of steps and round a corridor, difficult for me as I’m not long after a knee replacement. There were not any rooms available on the ground floor. I should have checked beforehand. There was no lift.

Gteat stay just a bit dissapointed to get back @ 8.30 sunday night to find the restaraunt closed @8 but no offer of helping me with room service .a good staff but no real intetest apart from being told what to do alas

Clean room but with very basic amenities. Very good evening meal with excellent service. Friendly staff. Being on the 3rd floor with no lift, was a challenge with the luggage. Hotel within walkable access to the town. However limited parking at hotel.

Well located, great price, friendly staff

Some of the best service I’ve received lately - a friendly and caring staff who are super professional and great at what they do. The room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom is a bit retro but it does the job. An excellent price for central Ely - I don’t think you could do better!

Convenient and good value

Staff at checkin very helpful with my luggage, when I explained I had a back problem. Room adequate, breakfast options very good. Convenient location in the centre of Ely, near the cathedral and Cromwell House. Limited free parking for guests. Good value.

Very good even though carparking is limited

A very pleasant stay at the Lamb Inn, Ely. Staff are helpful and courteous, the food & beverages lovely too. Ground floor areas pleasantly decorated. Room was spacious but pillows need to be less chunky - rather too thick, tending to give one a crick in the neck. Carpark for residents is small and finding is space can be just good fortune.

Nice central inn with friendly staff

Great centrally located inn. Comfortable bed (quite firm mattress - that’s what I like), clean room, kettle with a good amount of teas and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. I didn’t eat, but seems to be a quite popular restaurant. Bathroom had a tub which was a nice surprise - water controls are a bit strange and take a while to figure out hot water, but then there was plenty. I would recommend it if you are visiting Ely.
