One of the best locations on JBR. If you use the BackDoor gate you go on to a plaza that has all sorts of small shops,'a small supermarket, a pharmacy and even a clinic all within 100m of the back of the building. There is also easy access to the tram from there. I only wished they left the back door open all day. While this is not a beach front property it has a great pool that is on a bridge over the road. You are swimming above moving cars. Since Dubai is hot the property not being beach front is actually a good thing. The buildings shade the pool so you can easily use it most of the day without direct sun. I was there in June and between 11:30 to 2:00 is the time you will be in direct sun. The location is close to everything JBR walk has to offer and really close to the Marina walk as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, eat out.

Nice hotel and friendly reception staff. Buffet breakfast and dinner staff were very slow at drinking even water and coffee from their station (excluding the self service coffee) and removing dirty plates from the tables.

Made to feel like a thief as accused of not paying tourism tax on day one. Harassed for two days till they realised it was there mistake, otherwise clean hotel and nice area

Excellent hotel on the JBR and 5 mins walk away from the beach. Concierge staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities included a pool, spa, sauna, steam room and a few restaurants. Breakfast was included in my booking and staff fulfilled my request for eggless pancakes and dosa/paratha for breakfast. JBR has many cuisine options for lunch/dinner for a reasonable price (approx £20-30pp per meal). They provide a beach bag containing towels and a parasol free of charge which can be used on the public beach. Unfortunately this hotel doesnt have a private beach. The JBR is congested with cars most of the time which is something to bear in mind if you want a quiet environment. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to JBR and the beach and doesnt mind traffic.

The staff and service were excellet the pool area was shaded by buildings which may suit some. There is exstensive building works opposite which is noisy but in Dubai building everywhere. Beach area is good but infront of hotel also suffers from building works. Not of course the hotels fault so i havent downgraded the raiting. Breakfast was varied with all cultures catered for. Breakfast staff were particularly nice and super helpful
