Es ist befremdlich, dass in den Räumen geraucht werden darf, selbst im Restaurant. Aber ansonsten ist es das eines der schönsten Hotels in denen ich je war. Ein tolles historisches Gebäude, tolle Zimmer im historischen Stil. Das besondere Highlight ist das Restaurant auf der Dachterrasse.

Old-fashioned hotel that you makes you feel luxurious. Great location near the Mediterreanean. Check-in and check-out processes can be frustratingly slow, as is the elevator. But overall, a solid hotel when in Alexandria.

The room was gorgeous and the staff was attentive and helpful. The location was phenomenal! The only downside was weak water pressure in the shower. It was not enough for me to be anything but happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet. Schöne Lobby, edler Fahrstuhl, tolle Sky view am Dach. Zimmer war schön, klimatisiert, es gab Tee und Kaffe, Schuhschwamm und Siuwingkit (Danke!) Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, beim Empfang gab es zwei Gäser Saft, kleines Knabberzeug und eine Rose. Kühlschrank war warm. Das Badezimmer hat nur eine Regendusche, was bedeuted dass auch die Haare nass werden. Es gab leider keine Duschkappe, keine Wattestäbchen keine Wattepads, kein Glas zum Zähneputzen. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr arm ich kann es nicht empfehlen.

We had a wonderful stay during our visit to Alexandria. The hotel staff were amazing and very helpful! The room was spacious and very comfortable as well! Make sure to visit the Skyview Restaurant during your stay! The food and staff were exceptional!

Time Travel in a great location

Elegant old hotel, that feels frozen in time. The views of the sunset and the sea from oceanfront rooms are magnificent. Easy walk to the Greco-Roman museum and other sites. Fun to stroll the Corniche or take a quick taxi ride to seafood restaurants by the citadel. Where I stay when I'm in Alexandria.

Turn of the century European elegance describes this best; I expected Agatha Christie to walk down the hallway! Slightly faded, but kept in excellent condition. I was sat down with a fancy tea tray of goodies and cool Hibiscus tea while the front desk checked me in. My room was lovely. The bathroom was very luxurious (although more counter space would've been nice -- but it is a hundred plus year old hotel). Paid extra for ocean view and it was worth every penny. At dinner, the hosts wore white gloves and an Italian solo singer entertained. The stay was worth it just to use the ancient quaint elevator. And because Egyptian prices are lower than USA, I could actually afford something that in Europe would've been way beyond my price range. Loved every minute.

Beautiful historic hotel in a convenient location. Rooftop restaurant was very good. The staff was extremely attentive. Unfortunately the heat in our room did not function. They tried to fix it three times to no avail. We were okay with an extra blanket at this time of year, but it was chilly. Also, the hot water was just barely above warm, not hot enough. As the building is over 100 years old this is not entirely surprising, and the French colonial style decor was lovely.
