Great stay and location!

Our room was huge! It had access to a lovely patio, and walk way over looking the pool. Room seemed to be updated, and plenty of parking. Well laid out too, you’re never to close to the other parties.

Said there was breakfast but we could never find it. Also the pool was closed the whole time we were there and that was something I was looking forward too seeing I am pregnant. It was 80 degrees everyday so not sure why it was closed. Room service was great and made sure we always had fresh towels

We enjoyed our stay. Property was a little dated but not dirty. Very beautiful and rustic building and outdoor areas. Construction happening behind unit, but it wasnt loud. We saw a Bear in the parking lot, we thought that was pretty cool. Would stay here again.

It was very peaceful & the view was fabulous. Overlooked Gatlinburg & all the mountains behind it. Room was large & comfortable. Shower tho, its was a pain to get it to turn on. Had to pull under where the water came out. Totally bad design as I had a hard time pulling it to turn the shower on. Overall, it was great. Did drive down as it is a long walk to the strip.

Hidden gem on the outskirts of Gatlinburg

If you have the opportunity to stay at the Chalet Inn, take it. The hotel is within walking distance of The Parkway, but still secluded enough to feel like you are in the middle of the mountains. The room was very cozy and there was a spacious balcony with a view of the mountains. The pool was beautiful and had a gorgeous view. If I come back to Gatlinburg, the first hotel I look at will be the Chalet Inn.

Chalet Inn was a nice cozy place to stay. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The mountain views from our room balcony and from even sitting by the pool was amazing! We even got to see bears from a distance, of course, which was also amazing! The staff were excellent and friendly! We would definitely stay there again. Beware however, there is a lengthy steep hill driveway that you will have to walk up and down to and fro town if you plan on walking everywhere. We definitely got our exercise, but it was all worth it!

Its not a 10, but worth the stay.

I have stayed here multiple times. The Good: Older Inn with spectacular views of the space needle and the tram. Easily walkable to restaurants and the strip. The pool was clean, and the temperature was perfect. Employees were very friendly. The price per night fit my budget. The Bad: Room could use a deep clean, new bedding, and towels (some were threadbare). The Inn would be FABULOUS if someone with vision would do a remodel.

The only thing that I can rate decent is that the bed was clean along with the toilet. The rooms definitely needed upgraded due to cosmetic blemishes, wider doorways, screens on windows and curtains that shut completely for privacy.

The pictures listed are from 1972. The property is disgusting. I took several pictures of this room. There was brown goop on the walls, stains, holes, cracks, mold, and rotted wood in my room (204). I paid 330 a night for a romantic getaway and got a nightmare!

Lets just take anything and rent it out!

This room is very awkward and as a vacation rental owner, I would never rent something like that out. They did try to revamp bathroom, but still not good. Couldnt fine check in office. We came in at night and there were no signs lite up or anything. Had to ask another couple stayi g where to go! They said they had same problem. Wouldnt recommend this place.

Very outdated. Awkward accommodations/room layout. No office. Upon arrival there was a sign on the door to check in at another hotel down the hill. Exterior door into the building unlocked day and night. Large stains on curtains. Mildew in bathroom and around jacuzzi tub. Will not reserve again.
