Excellent location and enchanting atmosphere.

Amazing Riad in the heart of the Medina. Easy to find with Google Maps and no need for taxi or tuk tuk for the most part. The Riad makes you feel like you've escaped into your own private estate in Morocco.

We love this place. The service is amazing. Anything you ask is no problem. The food is great and this time as a treat we took the mini princesse the private apartment with its own roof terrace and three en-suite bedrooms and downstairs living area. Said the manager was amazing and took care of us - we will definitely come again Katie

Beautiful Riad, an oasis in manic Marrakech

We had a lovely stay at Riad Karmela. It is a beautiful Riad hidden away in the medina. The downstairs courtyards and roof terrace are excellent and so quiet compared to the street level chaos. The location was ideal for exploring the centre of Marrakech, with all key sites in walking distance. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and we had 2 evening meals, which were excellent. We used the hammam, which is small but good, the massage was very good. We booked the airport transport and we were glad we did, as we're not sure we would have found the Riad without doing so.

All good except taxi cannot go to Riad Karmela directly due to narrow roads in Medina. Meet a porter from the hotel at the meeting place to go to the hotel. He carried luggages in the cart to the hotel and asked us more tip. He followed us until he got more. Kept saying, " this is nothing." I used to give tips during 10 days of Morocco trip. Never happened. I was very annoyed and disappointed.

Lovely riad in the centre of the old city. Easy to find and a little bit out of the busiest bits of the medina, so makes a calmer place to return to after a day in Marrakech

Amazing staff and a really warm welcome. We had the family suite and stayed for one night, but the experience was perfect. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Will stay here again next time we are in Marrakech.
