Fantastic stay!!! The room was a moody romantic vibe with red velvet curtains and mirrors decorating the walls. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the street which could be loud abit with car noises but we appreciated the extra space. The communication with the hotel was great. They had the room ready early which helped us get a jump start on our touring. The breakfast was ready at 8am but coffee was put out by 7:30. Everyday the hot breakfast option was different but each day was delish! The hotel had the feel of a hotel in the Caribbean with huge banana trees in the courtyard and lots of areas to lounge. The area is quiet but offers close access to restaurants and bars in the Garden District, close access to the tram and very easy walking distance to warehouse and French districts. I would 100% stay here again!!!

What a great place to stay! So cute. Lovely courtyard. Great little jazz bar on site and full, hot breakfast included. The entire staff were so kind. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing breakfast and hospitality. Ideal New Orleans stay in the garden district walkable to everything. Rooms are on the smaller side but comfortable and good amenities. Gardens and property and location are superb. Tons of space and comfortable hang out areas in the open terrace. Loved the stay. Highly recommended.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, it was exactly what we expected. Beautifully clean Bed and Bathroom…. The Courtyard was amazing, with access to the breakfast room where there was plenty of variety for hot and cold breakfast with 24 hour access to Coffee and Water. Staff were a pleasure and Free Parking a bonus. We would recommend Creole Gardens as a fantastically placed accommodation for visiting New Orleans.

The rooms were quaint period styled rooms were great! View looking into courtyard added extra ambiance, breakfast were hot and fresh prepared different everyday. Lots of continental options on food bar, great area to walk and convenient to trolley. Would definitely stay again! Loved the granny dj at the attached roadhouse! Fun entertainment

I loved this place! My husband was skeptical. It is an old building (house). There isn't an elevator. We were on the second floor. I wanted to stay in a place that I would feel like I was in New Orleans and immersed in its culture. This fit the bill to a T. No, it did not have all the latest amenities - mini-fridge, microwave, pool - but it did have a garden area, fresh cooked breakfast, and a distinct New Orlean's vibe. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We walked the area and felt safe. There are several restaurants nearby. We rode the streetcar (just a couple of blocks away) to the Bourbon St. area. It also has free parking - I guess that is a rarity in New Orleans. So that was a great perk to have. My husband ended up loving the place, too. And he enjoys telling people we stayed in a brothel while we were in New Orleans. When/if we make it back, we will definitely look into staying there again!
