Great place to stay

My second time back, because it's a great option for an affordable stay: clean, cleanly furnished room with a separate bath. There is a built-in water filter in the bath, instead of plastic water bottles, which is actually eco-conscious! Add to that easy and fast transportation into the city and airport, and a large number of fantastic eating to be had nearby.

Good value for the money

We reserved two rooms for a family of four. The rooms are compact but offer great value for the price. They are clean, equipped with internet, comfortable beds, a fridge, and coffee-making facilities. There’s no restaurant on-site, but a 7-Eleven is conveniently located next door. The staff are extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. We used taxis to get around, which were reasonably priced.

This hotel had everything I needed. A bed, toilet, and privacy. Not every room has a refrigerator, but they allowed me to switch rooms to get one. The front desk attendants were all very professional! There is a 7-11 across the street for drinks, but I wouldn’t eat at any of the restaurants close by. It was very easy getting around the city with grab taxis. Would definitely stay again.

it was a very convenient place to stay as close to the national stadium; plenty of choices of eateries especially if you like asian food. the nearest atm was quite a distance away if you need to have cash on you as some places only take cash. there is a laundry very close to the property which is also a plus. close to the main city and the reception staff were all very friendly professional and helpful throughout.

Our room was not really like the photographs on the website, much more cramped and in need of decoration. Although everything was clean and functional, it all seemed rather tired, and the whole feel was more like a prison than a hotel! It did the job as a cheap place to spend a night between flights, but that's it. If your employer puts you up there, they're either in financial trouble or they want you to quit. If your husband takes you there, they want a divorce.

The staff on the first night had limited knowledge of English. After that, different staffers' English was very good. Overall, everything met my expectations except: 1. The shower stall had no door so water spilled to near the door 2. No bedside tables 3. No ice vending machines in a hotel where temperatures could be way above 30 degress Celsius 4. The soap dispenser's cover was broken and could not be mounted on the dispenser 5. Area is kind of low class but, because of that, eateries are plentiful and cheap with so much choice! 6. Other hotels in the area might be cheaper but this Hotel 81 Premier (Princess) might be the best What I liked: 1. Plesant and helpful staff 2. Proximity to an infinite amount of restaurants, food courts, currency exchange shops, massage parlours... 3. Walking distance to all the bus stops going in all directions 4. 7-Eleven and a laundry shop right next to the property
