Great for a one night stay, golfing or not
Paper thin walls between rooms, not great if you're a light sleeper. Spotlessly clean though Had DBB deal which was great value, but it was so rushed in the restaurant. Less than a minute between courses. Breakfast was mediocre, not a lot of selection in either hot or cold food, but what was there was really nice (thickest bacon i've ever eaten). Hotel bar very sociable with all the golfers. Overall - great for a one night stay.

Lovely hotel worth checking out
Lovely hotel- reception staff welcoming, easy check in - room has all basic facilities only kissing iron / board but am guessing likely available from reception. Bar area and staff good. The hotel is a distance from centre but we knew that and didn’t bother us - all in all would return

1st night was terrible They had a wedding on the noises terrible The room was open so they could come out for drinks . Kids running around playing football in hotel corridors we had dinner and the noise was awful from the music but the kids lie and shouting it was horrible A member of staff shut the door but it didn’t work the noise was awful. We went up to our room after dinner to relax and we couldn’t as outside our window the party guests were shouting smoking the music was so loud then there was a abutment going on and the language was something we shouldn’t be hearing .we tried to go to bed it it was just impossible with the noise This should not be happening in a hotel We paid a lot of money for us to stay here we just needed a break as we have our son with us and he s very ill and has special needs and just wanted to get away but not to this it spoilt our stay The receptionist was nice and helpful and helped us with Craig’s food as he has a lot of allergies we also had a problem with the shower it was either cold or hot enough to burn so we couldn’t let our son under the shower even for us it was dangerous so we had to have a bath not what we wanted

One night break away
This was a one night stay and did not disappoint. Friendly and welcoming staff, great facilities, food was lovely. Room was very nice, only downside for us was very limited tv channels in room, only 4 BBC channels to view which makes the downtime limited . The bed was too hard for us but obviously everyone is different. All in all a great night away.

Wedding weekend event
We booked this hotel stay months in advance and was not happy with the size of the room. We booked a double room and we must of had the smallest room in the hotel. The bed was a large single and myself and wife had to top and tail. My bedroom at home was bigger than the room. They did offer us an upgrade but not until the next day, 12pm and had to be out our room at 10.30am ( I was in the bridal party) wedding at 2pm ….. upgrade cost was £60 for the remaining 2 nights, as you can imagine we was cheesed off and knew the morning of the wedding was going to be a rush. Luckily the lovely lady on reception Saturday morning got us in the new room at 10.30am after such a terrible nights sleep with worrying where we was going to hang around for an hour and half in the morning until 12. * upgraded room was nice * lady on reception on arrival was awful. * upgrade cost £60 disgusting. * lady Saturday morning on reception lovely. * food all weekend was brilliant. * wedding was brilliant. * would we stay again….. NO * would we eat in the restaurant again 100% YES
