We stayed in the 'Standard Room, 1 Double Bed, (Small Room)'. Small was an understatement. The room was on the lower floor, and was extremely stuffy / too warm. It was cramped and no room to move around freely. There was no city view, just a view of a dirty corner. Bathroom was clean, however sink was tiny. To wash your face or brush your teeth was a challenge.
The hotel itself was clean and looked gorgeous. The room greatly lets the hotel down. Staff were helpful, however we did feel they were 'looking down' on us. We felt they were judging us and we didn't feel comfortable going to them for help.
Good location, down the side of a quiet high street which has a McDonald's, Sainsburys, a pub, a Greggs and a few other spots. Also has a tube station. Fabulous location, let down by the hotel itself.
