Comfortable, modern and clean in a lovely location. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the river. A perfect end to an enjoyable day in Yellowstone.

Friendly staff and clean property. No breakfast is offered. But a all hours coffee, tea, and cocoa station is provided. The outside back patio area offers a beautiful view of the Yellowstone River, and should not be missed. A charcoal grill is available for guest use. Parking is adequate, but can be tight.

Although an older property, the staff keep it well maintained. It is well located for the Northern part of Yellowstone.
Although there is no breakfast available, the room had a microwave and fridge plus coffee and hot water was available in the morning to take away. There are a few local places to get breakfast from if required.

Clean room. Lovely people running the motel. Parking may get tight if you arrive super late, but there are other options. Stone's throw away from the YNP sign.

My son and I were very pleased with our stay at the Yellowstone River Inn in Gardiner. It's an older property, I'm guessing built in the 1950s or 60s but has been very well maintained and kept up to date without losing it's charm. Our room (and bathroom) were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The linens and towels smelled fresh and clean! Complimentary teas, coffee, and fruit infused water were available to enjoy in the room or on the grass patio overlooking the river. Very scenic and relaxing. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Overall, a better experience than the hotels we stayed at inside Yellowstone national Park.
