Everything here was very good, but the beds and pillows were exceptionally uncomfortable for both of us. Also had to wait about five minutes for the person to check us in. Not a real big deal just being honest.

Personal touch was special
Due to some weather conditions we basically had the place to ourselves. Those who cancelled missed out. Jeannette made our stay special and even brought us breakfast each morning. Who does that? Nobody! If you are in the Gardiner area of Yellowstone this would be a good choice. Thanks again Jeannette

Great place to stay for Yellowstone
Stayed in Gardiner for one night during a Yellowstone trip. Stayed here based on all the reviews. There are really slim pickings in the Gardiner area this time of year. We arrived a little early and were able to check-in then head back to Mammoth. Got a great night of rest and the breakfast was great. Blueberry pancakes, sausage, coffee cake, and OJ for us. There were several hundred head of elk in the fields across the river. Spent some time watching them. When we left the next morning we were able to get ahead of the crowds that had to drive up to Mammoth to access Lamar Valley. It’s about 15 minutes to Mammoth. This isn’t the Hilton so don’t have unrealistic expectations and you’ll be fine.

Quiet, beautiful location
We had a great stay with Yellowstone Basin. With their close location to YNP we were able to get into the park early and enjoy the sunrise. Hearing elk bugle at night was so special.

Staff was very conscience about the COVID restrictions. All rooms are aired out for at least 4 hours during the cleaning process. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. I would recommend anyone traveling to Yellowstone National Park stay here. It is close to the North Entrance.
