Albergo Orologio has a GREAT staff!

The best thing I can say for this hotel (aside from being old and in the historic center of Brescia), is the REMARKABLE STAFF! They were EXCELLENT, and did their best to ensure your stay was a good one. Other than that, the room was dimly lit, even with the drapes wide open, and come night, the lighting made worse. The bathroom also dimly lit, and the shower is small. If you are a person of GIRTH, then taking a comfortable shower might come with its setbacks. As it was for us, and we are NOT overweight. Plus, the sink drained horribly. There was a queen-size bed and a single bed in our room, and that made opening up the one-large standing closet with a lock, a challange. Because you would have to push the single bed aside, just to get to your clothes.Although, the housekeeping staff kept the room spotless, and with fresh towels and linen daily. As far as the breakfast: Average - a few notches above continental. But the coffee was awful! Even a brewed cappucino tasted weak, and unlike the cappucinos from other hotels or cafes. However, the woman working in the dining room did a great job and was quite kind.The hotel is within easy walking distances to practically everything. Also, there is also a wonderful-little bakery located directly across from the hotel,that has some delicious goodies. Finally, If you want to experience Brescia from a old-town perspective, then Albergo Orologio Hotel may be for you!

Le persone fanno la differenza. Ed il gentilissimo e professionale Luca l'ha fatta. Ho prenotato una notte presso questa struttura ma per un disguido tecnico del sito la mia prenotazione non è andata a buon fine anche se mi era arrivata la conferma. Luca si è preso carico del mio problema ed invece di rispondermi di non potermi aiutare e di rivolgermi al supporto tecnico del sito (come spesso mi è capitato in altri hotel) mi ha trovato una stanza in un altro hotel di livello. Persone così professionali dovrebbero essercene di più.

Good location in nice city

Good location in the middle of old town, but street outside was very noisy on the weekend with music all night long, ok on weekdays. The room was nice and we had a really nice view, but it was cold and the bed was very hard. Breakfast was mostly sweet stuff. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful!

This tidy hotel is well placed in a quiet but central corner of Brescia. Unfortunately when I arrived in my room, the bathroom smelled strongly of bleach, which permeated the bedroom as well. I left the windows open all afternoon, to no avail. It was like sleeping next to a swimming pool.
