One of the top places ive stayed, very clean and modern concept with all the amenities that you need, the communication from the hotel was exceptional and very clear. The oweners even go the extra mile with little treats left in the room aswell as there own magazine that was beautifully curated with local information for food and bars and the orgin story of the hotel. I would definitely book to stay again

How lovely days stay in the Cobbler Hotel！ The virtual front desk is very convenient. Staffs always give feedback as quick as possible. The decoration is fancy, a mixture of American retro industrial style and Japanese minimalism. It remind me of Ace hotel in New York, which is also a retro industrial with dark decor. The snacks are also good! I would definitely recommend cobbler hotel to my friend if they come to WLT.

What a lovely new surprise. The hotel is freshly built and done so very stylishly. The access instructions were super easy to follow and the room on arrival so inviting. Very thoughtfully styled and room features perfect for a short or long stay. The location was very central and all Wellington sites walkable. Kitchenette stocked with basic cooking equipment although dine out options are plentiful... and great! Thank you for a lovely stay and a great place to be based for a Wellington adventure.

Great hotel, comfortable and clean with excelkent service. As a solo traveller I did not feel as safe in the area in the evening as I did elsewhere in NZ, but that is out of the hotels control. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Beautiful room with easy contactless check in. Right by the bus routes and main shopping and dining areas. Lovely fixtures and tastefully decorated. Bathroom was spacious. Kitchenette was adequate. Lovely tea selection and thoughtful free snacks. No coffee though but great cafes all around the corner. Room can be a bit noisy at night with bars downstairs.

I don’t like being given the disabled room. Noisy- somebody was drilling and hammering at 7:15 am. Small. Broken wall. Toilet wouldn’t stop flushing. Literally no drawers or cupboard to unpack clothes.

Warm and Cozy Studio in Central Wellington – Great for Tourists, Not for Business The studio itself was warm and cozy, and the location is definitely a highlight—right in the heart of where everything is happening. It’s perfect if you’re in Wellington to explore the nightlife or don’t have a car. The bed, however, was quite uncomfortable, though the bedding was decent. Shower and kitchen facilities were just okay—nothing fancy, but functional. One major downside was the noise from the bars on the street. I was woken up four times between late evening and 2am, which made it hard to get proper rest. That really affected my stay, especially as I was visiting for business. Communication with the host was fine, but nothing exceptional. Overall, I’d recommend this place for tourists or partygoers looking to enjoy Wellington’s vibrant scene. However, if you need a quiet night’s sleep or are in town for work, I’d look elsewhere.

The Cobbler is a nice compact place to stay for my work trips. It is always clean and comfortable and the no staff / self entry via the app is great for me. Don't need to speak to anyone!! The service is fast if you need anything via the app. Plus I love the snack pack and drinks in the room on arrival.
