Worst experience
The hotel occupies a single floor in a rather rundown commercial building. The building itself shows signs of disrepair, and the entire premises is littered with construction debris. While the hotel had been recently renovated with modern and updated rooms, there was still noticeable residual dust and dirt from the construction work in the room. Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired. We found multiple hairs, both male and female, on the bed linens. The bathroom towel had a stain and also some stray hairs, which was unpleasant. Additionally, the minibar items like glasses and the spoon were dusty, and the spoon even had coffee residue.
One highlight is the proximity to the Giza Pyramids, and there is a beautiful rooftop view of these iconic landmarks. However, the neighborhood itself is not tourist-friendly, lacking essential infrastructure such as restaurants and supermarkets, which made us feel uncomfortable and isolated.
After our first night, we were approached by the General Manager, Samir, who informed us that the hotel would be closing and that we would be transferred to another property. However, he was unable to provide us with the name or photos of the new hotel, stating that it was in a 'soft open' phase and not yet listed on accommodation websites. This lack of transparency and planning added to our discomfort.
Given the overall discomfort and lack of clear information, we preferred to request a refund for the remaining nights and book a different
