front desk staff not available at checkin. Turns out they were busy in the back watching tiktok rather than in the front. During checkout had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up to check us out and settle account. I walked around looking for staff, no-one was around. Room needed TLC

After dealing with the bottle throwing crackheads outside,we were serenaded to sleep by the loud "music" from the bar close by. We would not have picked this hotel but the wedding venue was close by so we put up with the irritations. Some of the other guests who were staying the whole weekend switched to other hotels. Parking is located on the next block so if you have many bags you are in for more inconveniences. You have been warned.

Good things: Staff was wonderful. Kind, attentive and efficient. The king size bed was wonderful; very comfortable! The A/C was the quietest I have ever had. There were blackout shades on both windows! The stand up shower had good water pressure and the water was hot. Ok things: The rooms are small, but appointed w/ the necessities. My room was clean and had all i needed. The bathroom had a nightlight that was a rather bright (LED) and shown directly on the left side of the bed. Had to close the bathroom door which may not be the best for some guests. There was no place/stand to put your luggage on; so bed or floor. The bathroom doesn't have much counter space. The not great: The windows are older and the area has a lot of clubs, lots of music can be heard until late. (bring ear plugs and its all good) Lastly, I had a room w/ an adjoining door to another room. I could hear EVERYthing, the normal voice convos, TV, bathroom visits, other. (again ear plugs) Also, since there was no bottom door seal, any odor (like smoke) created on that side of door permeated my room. To each their own but this could be dangerous/cause problems for others.

The hotel itself was alright. However, I was placed in one of the rooms facing out toward the train and in the evenings that’s all I could hear, along with people walking on the street yelling. I had to sleep every night with my noise canceling headphones. Not sure if it was just my timeline specifically but the bar/restaurant next door plays incredibly loud music on the weekends. And the music didn’t stop until after 11pm even on a Sunday. Normally that wouldn’t bother me aside from I was on a work trip and needed to sleep. But, staff was alright and the room was average.

Construction around the hotel made it very difficult to access and no on site parking is available. It is also very loud all night due to its proximity to the downtown bars. The room itself was decent and did its job.

Don’t stay here if you’re a normal human.

Do not stay here if you are into nice staff, valet that works, parking overall. Don't get me wrong, it’s a cool hotel the rooms with the city view are cool. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the country. I would never stay here again. It’s a very cool idea. Close to a ton of bars so maybe that’s the whole point. But as an avid trip taker this hotel was over rated. Bed was comfy tho. AC worked great. If I had known when I booked it where it was and what it was around I wouldn’t have wasted my time. But yeah staff overall very low iq to cool for school and just cocky. That was the worst part of this place.

The place was very cool, trendy. Exactly what we needed to walk to the music hall for a concert. Unfortunately, the Male staff was a little salty. Seemed inconvenienced by making coffee or asking questions about the area. Otherwise it was a great day would’ve preferred a mini fridge in the room and a coffee maker Wanted to give this place a 5out of 5 but the customer service could’ve been better. Also found some hairs in the bottom of the shower that weren’t mine on arrival.
