No air conditioning, uncomfortable, and dirty.

Hotel was expensive but horrible. There was no air conditioning, so we left the windows open all night and could not sleep because of the heat and drunk people yelling outside. The bed was some kind of foam so if go to the edge you roll off onto the floor. The floor was covered with a thin felt instead of carpet. The fan and coffee machine were broken. There was mold on the shower curtain. The breakfast was average.

Hotel Montana is quite close to the train station and walkable to old town, that is why we picked it. It was not the nicest neighborhood. The young lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. There was no AC and the fan provided didn’t do much. The breakfast was quite good.

The hotel is located close to the train station and the bus station. Very convenient. It is next door to a Coop grocery store, and you are allowed to use the hotel breakfast area to eat food from the store, which can save quite a lot of money in Zurich. Room and staff very pleasant. Would stay here again.

It was well located with respect to our transportation via train and bus needs. It is not fancy with minimal guest room amenities. However, the breakfast was excellent with lots of otions. Our room was listed as a courtyard room that turned out to be a parking area for Hertz and delivery area for the CO-OP grocery store around the corner.

The Hotel Montana like eveyone said is very close to the train station. It was nice not having to lug my suitcase for blocks to get to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Before I arrived in Zurich, I made several calls to the hotel and they were always very very gracious in answering all my questions. The only problem was there are no air conditioning in the rooms. Switzerland was having a heat wave in June, and even though we had a fan, it still was fairly warm trying to sleep.

Our room was in the top floor in a very hot annex. Even in the moderately warm temperatures of our visit it was hardly bearable. There is no AC. We had no curtains on one of the windows and a broken external blind. We mentioned this to the staff , but it was clear they were going to do nothing and they didn’t! The windows open straight out with no safety bars.I would avoid the hotel

Very handy for the central train station. Interesting to have to create your own keycard, but nice that they are made of wood for recycling. One of the breakfast staff mocked my pronunciation when asking for something - not very professional (particularly as English is my native language...)

The hotel is within walking distance from the main station, and you can store your luggage for free until check-in. The breakfast was exceptional (really!). Our room needed some work (the ventilation system was not working and the shower was leaking). Yet, we were only there for one night, so it was absolutely fine. Staff friendly and helpful. Have I mentioned the breakfast? Wow.
