The manager and staff are wonderful, the room was comfortable with a balcony on the 5th floor. The breakfast variety was good. The only downside is the location. While it is a short walk to the tram, the streets are EXTREMELY steep and difficult for this old lady in both directions! While there were nice restaurants within a couple of blocks in one direction, it is surrounded by warehouses and manufacturing businesses and during the day the very narrow streets are filled with trucks and motorcycles and the narrow sidewalks are crowded with boxes and workers. But if I were younger, I would certainly return!

Good location, walking distance to many landmarks. Modern, new hotel/facilities. Great corner room. Tasty, fresh breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable and welcoming! The only con was the corner street garbage disposal (very displeasing look and noisy garbage pickup truck at night).

A real Gem of a hotel. Walking distance to all the major attractions and the tramline. The staff is amazing and very friendly. The included breakfast is superb, be sure to ask for their Turkish coffee. Rooms are super clean and bottled water is provided. The preselected tours they provide at reception are discounted and won’t disappoint! Highly recommend their Bosphorus night dinner boat cruise and a day at the beach on the Black Sea. Special thanks to Shidokht at reception for making the stay amazing! Thanks and keep up the fine work!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at the omiya. Upon a long day of travelling we were warmly greeted by Furkan, with a complimentary room upgrade. Throughout the stay the whole staff was kind & always greeted us with smiles & hospitality making us feel welcomed. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the tram making it a perfect location to get to all attractions in Istanbul. The grand bazaar was only a 5 minute walk & just steps outside of the hotel are many dining options. Daily breakfast is available everyday until 10am (I do wish that was until 11 we missed breakfast 2ce for sleeping in) however coffee & tea is available 24 hours in the breakfast room. Our favorite thing about the hotel was the staff hospitality. Hugs all around when we left. If you want to stay somewhere that gives you individual treatment then stay here. You are not a room number, you truly are guests! Thank you to these wonderful people who were the best part of Istanbul!

Prima hotel met goede schone nieuwe kamers, bed was lekker goed geslapen al met al een goede hotel met vriendelijke en hulpzame personeel, het enige minpunt is de lawaai in de omgeving en dat komt omdat de hotel echt midden in een drukke straat gelegen is verder is het op loopafstand van bekende sultanahmet plein en hagiasophia en Topkapi paleis.

The hotel was very welcoming. Modern facilities, including air conditioning. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good and included in price. We had a corner room on 5th floor for 5 nights. It had two small balconies, one with a small table and two chairs, which was nice. It is on a small street that is a hill. There is a supermarket as well as a convenience close by. Walkable to many of the major sites. I would stay there again.

5 Star Customer Service + Great Location
Hotel Customer Service 5 STAR! Excellent hospitality and coordination. They contacted me right away and helped to coordinate my transport from the Airport directly to the hotel SEAMLESSLY. The front desk were SO helpful and spoke GREAT english. They recommended restaurants and shopping and were amazing and kind. The staff helped with our bags, offereed to make us tea and coffee every time we entereed and were amazing. The location is brilliant with close proximity to everything. The rooms were very clean and seemed to be fairly new. The rooms are a tad small and so were the bathrooms, and you do not get any frills in the way of a disposable razor or toothbrush in the event you forget them. Also there is only 1 bottle of liquid soap/body wash/shampoo - I'm not a big fan of these 1 liquid for all, but it worked I suppose.

Girls trip to Istanbul
The hotel suite at Omiya Hotel was incredibly comfortable, with a balcony offering stunning views of the city and the Mediterranean sea. The room was immaculately clean, with a refreshing shower and crisp, fresh towels. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any request, with Kurban in particular providing excellent recommendations for exploring the city. Every time we returned to the hotel, Kurban would offer us chai, which was always a delightful treat. I highly recommend Omiya Hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Turkey. I will definitely book a room here again on my next visit.
