The room was.dirt cheap, but was in the correct location. I only needed somewhere to sleep for 3 hours before getting a train, and the room was by far the cheapest, and I got exactly what I expected and paid for, but I cannot recommend it

Jag reser mycket och har bott på många olika hotell. Detta var ett utav de värsta. Rummet luktade gamla cigaretter, personalen var ganska otrevlig, frukosten var en katastrof: pulverkaffe på burk och påsar med skivat bröd man kunde rosta och en sorts sylt. Lite billigare än många hotell i London men inte värt det alls. Jag rekommenderar att undvika Grenville Hotel!

I should have believed the *one star reviews. I thought it couldn’t be as bad as the other reviews stated. The standard of this property is really poor, it’s needing a complete renovation. I have stayed in most of the hotels in Kings Cross area and this would be suitable for those who don’t want anything amazing and maybe just for somewhere to sleep for a few hours.

Room was in a terrible state. I was in the attic room. Couldn't get into shower cupboard it was that small. Bed creaked badly every time I moved. Then was woken up by room next door for two hours having some kind of party. Someone even tried to open my door. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.. you've been warned

What is it to stay at the Grenville you ask? What isn’t it ?-I say How does a stay in central London with a personal aviary, complimentary white noise machine, intimacy sized beds - intimacy sized everything for that matter , from the beds to the shower/sink/toilet closet sound? This place has 2 stars posted on the street , you will never find a more self aware honest rating , the staff were very kind and helpful and for what it is and location it gets 5 stars.

Exceeded expectations for affordable hotel in London. This place having complimentary breakfast and en suite bathroom made it seem way better than anything else in the price range and it lived up to that! The room was, of course, fairly small, but it had everything you could need, and the bed was super comfortable, which is probably the most important part of a hotel! The staff were lovely and super helpful & breakfast was also great, all the cereal, hot drink & sandwich stuff you would want. Would recommend to anyone visiting london as a good option to sleep and eat without breaking the bank, and likely will return myself.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte im Hotel und es war okay. Die Bettwäsche war sauber, das WC und die Dusche befanden sich in einer Art Schrank - es war sehr eng. Das Zimmer war mit abgenutzen Möbeln ausgestattet, es hatte einen Teppich, der auch schon sehr alt war. Das Frühstück bestand aus Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Instant Kaffee oder Tee. Ich würde das Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.

Excellent price and location. Staff were brilliant. Tiny room but everything you need. Comfortable single bed. Negatives: light in shower didn't work, I was only staying one night so not a problem. Reported it as I was checking out and reception said they would sort it. Couldn't get all the TV channels, but who cares about that, I have my phone. Very convenient for all of central London. Tube stations within 5-10 minutes walk. Kings Cross 10 minutes so great if you have an early Eurostar departure, like me.

Terrible in all ways unfortunately, we had what felt like a port-a-loo in the bedroom, showering well…. You could have pi**ed harder. After long walks around London this shower is not what you wanted. The flooring was missing and broken in many parts of our room. The tv was good if you have superman vision if not you won’t see it at all. Staff were pretty ok on arrival, but after our key card stopped working and we went back into another hotel to get it fixed, he made us wait 15 minutes in scorching heat inside where the only aircon was in his office. Not a place I’d recommend or ever want to stay again.

L'hotel e' adatto a chi vuol spendere poco per un soggiorno a Londra. Una volta chiarite le aspettative non e' poi cosi' male. La camera e' meno peggio di come ci si potrebbe aspettare, la colazione passabile e il personale gentile
