Great location near Mercato Centrale and less than 5 min walk to the Duomo! Great room on the 2nd floor with fantastic shower as well. Comfy bed. Reasonable price for 5 nights! Small and private!

Just what we needed for two nights in Florence.

Giovanni & Nadine were very helpful and friendly throughout the process. For those driving to Florence Giovanni will direct you to a parking garage that is booked in advance and literally steps from the hotel AND avoids ZTL fines. Breakfast was good and the room was great for two adults and two teenagers. Very close to everything in Florence. 5 minutes walk to the Duomo, less to the Accademia, 7-10 to the Uffizi. 10 minutes to Pinterest Vecchio. All the restaurants that you could want for every meal of the day and aperitivo are minutes away.

Gluten free friendly great location

Lovely hotel — we had our child with us and the room was lofted — she had a bed and writing desk and was in heaven. The breakfast was simple but filling — we have celiacs disease and they had a number of gluten free premade options to choose from — the best selection we have seen in Italy. The location is perfect but ask for directions from the train station — map apps didn’t do well for us but it is very direct 10 minute walk when the hotel staff explained it to you. Great to store our bags on our day of departure. Very close to the duomo, St. Lawrence Church, and the uffizi gallery… and Pinocchio!

Ótima localização. Hotel antigo e aconchegante.

Local muito bem localizado, próximo a estação de trem e todos os pontos turísticos mais conhecidos. Vários restaurantes ao redor. O mercado central fica a alguns passos do hotel e a Cappelle Medici também. O quarto é aconchegante, com vários lugares para acomodar bagagem e a cama é muito boa. O único senão é o banheiro (pequeno e bem antigo) e o box (minúsculo, até para padrões italianos, rsrs). De resto, retornaríamos neste hotel.

Hotel Collodi an oasis in the heart of Florence

We really enjoyed our five night stay at Hotel Collodi in central Florence. Easy walk from the airport tram and to the central train station. We were greeted warmly at the front desk and checked in early. Staff is professional and courteous, providing excellent tips on places to see and restaurant suggestions. Complimentary breakfast hit the spot, and includes excellent assortment of coffee options. We were in room 403 on the second floor, looking out on a small courtyard. Clean, quiet, squeaky clean room featuring a large modern bathroom. The bed mattress was a little firm but still comfortable. Overall, excellent value for the money just a block off the central market within easy walking distance of all the major attractions.

Absolutely fantastic location, walkable to everything, roomy and comfy accommodations, and very friendly staff. Excellent continental breakfast for the price of free. Couldn't ask for more for the money. Would certainly stay here again.

Family trip

This was a nice quaint hotel. We had the larger room with an upstairs area and it was perfect for a family of 4. The complimentary bottle of wine was perfect to wind down at night. The hotel is centrally located within Florence and all highlights are less than a 15 minute easy walk.

Great staff, room and location

Very centric hotel, with friendly staff, very clean and had a fan. The room was of reasonable size, the bathroom was large, good water pressure and hot water. You have the Mercato Centrale at your doorstep, walk to the Duomo in 5 minutes, the further part is Ponte Vechio. The train station is a 10 minute walk. The towels are different but they do the job just fine.
