Kathleen at the front desk made our stay!

This is a very nice hotel not far from the train station. It is on a quiet street, but very close to a street with nice stores and restaurants. I would highly recommend a restaurant by the name of Il Sosta 111 a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is also close to the Lorenzo market. It was a little bit difficult to find the hotel as it is not marked well but if you follow the street numbers, you’ll see the hotel listed on the wall and you’ll be buzzed in. The room was small, but updated in the bathroom was nice. Nice towels. The breakfast was great with freshly made scrambled eggs. Kathleen was at the desk when we arrived and when we departed, and she was pleasant, helpful, and spoke excellent English. She really made our stay.

Staff were very nice, the place is horrible, rooms are very old, small, and hot. Elevator looks like from an horror Jack the Ripper movie, I would say that if you’re ready to live a very weird, scary and horrifying experience where you go back 2 centuries then go here. I would never ever recommend this place. I was ready to go way before checkout time. *Breakfast was great by the way..

Lived this place!

Amazing place to stay for our family of 5. The rooftop terrace was beautiful. Breakfast was great as well. Kathryn was so helpful and kind. She helped us with all our needs and we were able to store our bags until afternoon. Would definitely stay again!

A perfect stay for us! We walked from our train, dropped our luggage, and walked through Florence from the hotel. Everything quite convenient. The room was great (5 bed), good A/C, clean, nice bathroom and small terrace the girls loved doing their makeup on in the morning. I have to say the Innkeeper was the friendliest hotel person we met while travelling through Italy and the breakfast was by FAR the best hotel breakfast we had. It was simply fantastic. Rooftop was a nice stop in the evening for a bottle of wine. Would stay here again.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station, a quick 5 minute walk. We also picked it because had a rooftop terrace which was perfect for an evening cocktail. The rooftop had plenty of comfortable seating for our group of 8. The rooms were comfortable and they had an excellent breakfast. They have a small bar with a good selection and cold drinks for purchase. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before check in time and they stored our luggage until our rooms were ready. All the major sights were within a short 15-20 min walk without being in the middle of the congested areas. There a quite a few stairs to navigate in the hotel. The hotel lobby is on the third floor, but there is an elevator available. However, some rooms and the rooftop require you to use narrow stairs. Overall, I would stay here again, it was lovely.
