Our overall stay was very good! The hotel is set in an older building, and while it’s not a modern-style property, the rooms have been nicely renovated and the washroom had a few modern updates. The stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The standout was definitely the customer service. We interacted with four different front desk staff members during our stay, and every single one of them was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. They truly went above and beyond to make our experience pleasant.
Breakfast was included and quite nice, and we enjoyed the outdoor terrace. We had a couple of minor issues come up during our stay, but the team addressed them quickly and efficiently. The only small hiccup was a bit of miscommunication around replacing our shower head — it wasn’t running optimally and unfortunately couldn’t be fixed until after our second night.
The location is great — within walking distance of the Colosseum, metro stations, and the main train station. You can hear the occasional train during the day, but noise was not an issue at night. The area is removed from the touristy spots so there were a handful of good local restaurants around with fair pricing.
Overall, a comfortable stay with exceptional service and a convenient location.
