I would avoid the Decameron. I booked through Hotels.com as did 6 other friends. They did not have check in issues, but I did. This is the second time a hotel I booked through hotels.com could not find my reservation when I arrived at the hotel. It took them 3 hours to discuss this with hotels.com and they said they had found the reservation after we sat in the lobby unable to have access to the room I paid for, go to the bar, or refresh after a long travel day. This seriously cut into the day we were hoping to have. They finally said they found it but there was a modification which caused it to somehow get lost, although I did not modify. After all this debacle we finally got access to our room. We had asked to be close to the rooms of our other friends when we booked but this was by availability so after all this it did not happen. The signage in the hotel is not clear so rooms are difficult to find. Our shower was not draining so flooded out into the main bathroom area until it got to the second drain. We were out and they sent security to find us to put a new card on file, even after wasting 3 hours of our day while they sorted my check in, and giving them a card to make a small eco charge onto. They then had security walk me to my room to get my card for them to charge like I was going to try to avoid paying for the hotel, which is ridiculous. I had even shown them my receipt and payment through hotels.com at the time of check in but they noted it was not on file.

Great staff!

The hotel is beachfront and landscaped beautifully. The rooms were well decorated, but the property is a bit older. So just don’t expect brand new amenities or luxuries. I cannot say enough about the customer service of the staff. Everyone was so helpful and sweet. The food on the buffet was average. The entertainment provided was excellent, a lot of fun! The hotel is in a great area as well.

This property was OK but the WiFi urgently needs some renewing. Basically the whole week we were there the WiFi was only used a little bit. Don’t come here expecting to rely on the WiFi for something.

We had a fantastic stay at this all-inclusive resort in Cabo! Our room was conveniently located right by the pool area, behind the stage where they had the nightly music, but surprisingly, it wasn’t too noisy—it actually added to the fun atmosphere. We loved being able to enjoy the entertainment right from our window. The nightly entertainment was a highlight of our trip, with Mexican night and karaoke night being our favorites. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. As for the food, the buffet offered a variety of options, and while it wasn’t overly fancy, everything was tasty and satisfying. Another great perk was having shops right across the street. There’s an Oxxo, which is like a 7-Eleven which was great for loading up on snacks, and a small mall with delicious ice cream and a Starbucks, so we had some nice options to switch things up. The only downside we experienced was the WiFi. The signal was very weak, and it kept disconnecting. Thankfully, my cell phone plan included some data, but we would have preferred if the WiFi was more reliable and easier to connect to. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway.

The hotel is comfortable if the purpose of the vacation is to relax, only two options for meals. The buffet and a restaurant by the pool, the food can use some improvement. Presentation is good but no flavor. Staff was amazing, very hardworking people.

We stayed for a week and we were impressed with the nice, smaller size of the resort. The hotel never felt crowded, our room was spacious with nice balcony and the restaurant meals were well prepared and nicely seasoned. Staff are friendly and encouraging with our basic grasp of Spanish. Overall great place for a relaxing week in beautiful weather with a great beach.

Our stay was good overall. The pool was nice and the staff was great. The buffet selections were OK, nothing special but not bad. Some food was overcooked or soggy. The La Luna restaurant was very nice, but we were forced to wait for a seat the 2 nights we ate there due to out internet service not working so we could not reserve on line. Internet service was very spotty. Beach was beautiful with lots of sand. We were not able to go in the water due to the undertow, and I would have loved to have known this prior to booking, since it is a beach resort.

The pool was great and the rooms were spacious. Loved having morning coffee out on our balcony facing the water. The staff were excellent and always helpful. Did not like the idea of not being able to put toilet paper in the toilet. There was limited dining - we would have liked a few more options.

This is a quaint resort which is conveniently located within walking distance to Old Town San Jose Del Cabo. The resort has friendly staff that works tirelessly from morning till night. The resort is clean, the food is good and the beach is enjoyable. There are many activities available throughout the day. There are shows at night and lots of opportunities to sing karaoke. A fantastic place to stay!

My daughter and I had a lovely time at the Royal Decameron! We enjoyed the pools, the large room with a pool and ocean view, and being so close to the beach. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We had a really relaxing time. Definitely would go again and recommend to others.
