The first the TV wasn't working so they gave us another room. The second room had lady bugs and stink bugs on the wall plus flying around in the room. The third roo was fine. All of the rooms were very clean though.

The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. The bathroom faucet water was backwards, hot was cold and cold was not. Not a big deal. Breakfast was just ok, the entire juice machine was “out of service “ with only coffee as a choice. That was disappointing.

Nightmare honeymoon

Me and my wife went to Huntsville Alabama for our honeymoon and we booked through Hotels.com at the Laquinta Inn. We stayed 2 nights and paid over $150 a night, which was pricey for us but it was our honeymoon. We paid extra to have a room with a jacuzzi. The 2nd day we filled the water up in the jacuzzi and got in as it was filling up. It was about halfway full when my wife noticed a couple pieces of what appeared to be pieces of skin. We turned the jets off and that's when we saw a couple dozen of those pieces that apparently came out of the jets all in the jacuzzi. We got out fast and drained the water. Most went down the drain but several pieces were left in the jacuzzi floor. The next day i woke up with a red rash on my back and arm I took pictures and when we were about to check out i asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to employee "David" and he told me a manager is not there but he can log my complaint. I messaged Hotels.com after we left and they went to great lengths to not refund our money. I will leave this review on Google and every other format until it is made right

You've been warned

Me and my wife stayed at the Laquinta for 2 nights for our honeymoon. We paid over $150 per night, which was high for us but given the occasion we decided to splurge . We had a jacuzzi in our room so we were really excited to enjoy that. We ended up getting in it and filled it up. We had the jets going and the water filling when my wife noticed 2 square pieces of what looked to be someone's skin on my arm. We turned the jets off and that's when we saw a couple dozen of these pieces in the water. She totally freaked out and we got out and dried off. We let the water out and some of the pieces went down the drain but several were still in the tub. We took pictures and the next day i went to the front desk to speak with a manager. We also took pics of my back, where a rash had broken out over night. An employee named "David" told me a manager wasn't there but he could document my complaint and someone would reach out to me. Instead of waiting for this we messaged with a live agent from Hotel.com. Long story short i messaged for 2 hours with the agent and i sent him all of the pics. We got the run around as they tried every way to not fully compensate us. I would suggest looking in to other company's that book rooms. If you're reading this, then they still haven't made it right

The staff should inspect the rooms more closely. My room, 219, had a lamp shade that was broken and taped up. The clothing rack was broken. I informed Harry at the Check-in-counter upon discovery within less than an hour of my arrival. The Jacuzzi was not working. I should receive some type of refund back .

Terrible

Front desk clerk wasn’t friendly. The room smelled horrible. Couldn’t rest or sleep for the partying next door all night and the next day. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Overall terrible stay.

WTH is a deposit needed for

Just add a hundred dollars to your stay because a hundred dollar deposit is needed to check in and they don’t take cash.. This isn’t the Waldorf.. Everything else was fine. I won’t be staying there again .

They do not care about the guests

The first room that they put me in smelled extremely terrible. It smelled like dog or cat feces. I went to the front desk and asked for another room. The front desk attendant during the evening was very rude and was rushing me. Also, when I checked in on the website, it gave me an option to have complimentary late check out at 12, I picked that. And then also, if put my card on file for incidentals. When I arrived at the hotel, he said I couldn’t have late check out and that he gets to choose who gets late check out. Also, while my card was on file, he charged me an additional100$ thag I am trying to get back now.

Our room was changed twice. The 1st time was because the room smelled like mold and it looked like some sort of growth on the furniture. The 2nd room was not much better but we stayed the 1st night in it. One side of the bed was sunken in, turned out to be the box spring was broken. The bathroom was in poor condition with the paint bubbling and the toilet ran every 30 mins, which was very loud and woke us up all thru the night. The 3rd room smelled better than the 1st 2 but was dirty. The manager came in and spot cleaned the box spring liner because there was something gross on it. The bathroom had hair all over the floor and hair wrapped up in the towels and rags. In all 3 rooms, the cabinet the fridge was in was heavily water damaged. The entire building smelled like it has a major moisture problem. The indoor pool wasn't bad, it was clean and very relaxing. But they didnt keep pool towels stocked. Breakfast selection was decent as well. I would not stay there again.

Not so Amazing

I paid in full for two nights close to $400 and then when we get there we have to pay an additional $250 deposit and it had to be on a credit card. When I get to the front desk there are two people of male and female the female asked me how did you get in here? I told her from the front door I told her I just came from the restroom but that just spearheaded the way that our stay was going to go. In our room we noticed the next morning after the first night that the center that the refrigerator was sitting in was breaking on the bottom I guess because of a leak we took a picture and my husband went to the front desk to let them know about it they offer to move us to another bedroom and which we did within an hour they told us that we would have to put in another $250 deposit because they smelled smoke in the room which is so ridiculous because I had just come back from outside smoking this morning of course it's going to smell like cigarettes. I even advise them to check the cameras so because somebody can just say oh it smell like cigarette doesn't mean that we smoked in the room however all in all we had to leave the hotel we weren't able to stay the second night without putting an additional $250 because we apparently lost the other $250 deposit because somebody said it smell like smoke neither manager nor general manager ever came to approach us to let us know to come in and check the room for themselves this was a disaster. We were just in town for a funeral! I'm not good

Adverstised as the ritz but no amenities

I paid 525 dollars for one night!. 250 deposit for a double room no hot tub i did not ask for and a 25 pet fee. Still waiting on a deposit
