Location is good. Unfortunately, algae was excessive at the beach. Nice palapas to cover from the sun while at the beach and lifeguard always present.
The All-Inclusive allows for non-motorized activities, but staff is not very friendly and would not provide much feedback on the usage of available equipment.
DRINKS: The All-Inclusive beverage availability is limited to local beer (Presidente is really good), and an unknown generic, local brand for any other alcoholic beverages, of questionable source and low quality. If you choose to pay the $70plus daily "VIP" fee, they give you access to "premium" brands such as Tequila Cuervo. Really? Cuervo is VIP? Unbelievable!
ROOMS: They are very small, especially the bathroom. The toilet area is quite limited and water drained from the shower area onto the toilet area floor every time we took a shower, so that will always keep the floor wet... I reported that to the front desk but figured it seems to be a result of poor design and was never corrected.
STAFF: The front desk staff was really friendly, but inconsistent in communication within. I required 3 times for the possibility of placing a "Happy Birthday" banner on my room's door on my girlfriend's birthday, but they forgot to do it. It was a bummer when we saw many other rooms with those banners during our whole stay!
Good service is ALL about the details!
Service was inconsistent at the different restaurants. Some days were better than others. It was good to find ELVIS.
