Very clean, spacious from NY’s perspective…I arrived early at 7am but the receptionist was helpful to have offered me early check-ins, which was wonderful. Just that going up to my floor doesn’t require tapping card at the lift, which is a bit insecure. Other than that, I enjoyed it a lot.

1. Prepaid all nights through hotel.com but hotel is still proceed the payment by first 3 days when I argue 2 times then stop the payment. 2. Air conditioner could not be adjustable and super cool all the time. 3. The escalators are very poor and always shut down. Says can WhatsApp their front desk for pick up services by foreigners but do not have WhatsApp services by the appointed phone number. Need to call them but almost waiting at least 10 mins to pick me up. 4. The keys both of them are not working.

On the positive side, the staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. However, the rooms were really worn down. We paid for a room with two double beds, advertised as one of the larger ones, but it was very small. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was good even on higher floors. Getting an elevator during busy hours was a bit of a challenge, but not too bad. The location was excellent. Breakfast was disappointing — the food was just okay, and the breakfast room was far too small for the size of the hotel and the number of guests in the morning. The breakfast staff, however, was again extremely friendly. Overall, mixed feelings. For the price we paid, I would have been very disappointed anywhere else, but I guess this kind of poor value for high prices is fairly typical in NYC.

It was 4/10

The room was pretty clean, but I had a lot of problems with the bathroom one room my toilet kept getting overflown so they changed me and my fiancé rooms. Then the other room did not have running hot water. It was an inconvenience to our stay as far as getting ready, so we backtracked about an hour getting those things settled as far as location. It’s in a pretty good area not too long of a walk to Times Square.

The elevator situation was a disaster. We were on the 24th floor and there were only two elevators. For breakfast and checkout, it was impossible to get down to the lobby. The elevators were always full when the doors opened. We ended up walking 24 floors down. Also, the rooms were very small.

Would not recommend

Location is nice, walking distance from Times Square. I booked the standard room and was informed upon check in we had a twin room. When I asked if we could get a queen/king room, the lady at reception explained we were given whichever room was left, as I had booked the standard room. Poor, but if that’s the case….. she suggested I would check the next morning after breakfast to see if we could move rooms. The beds were horrible, you could feel the springs and it had clearly been used lots as there were dents in the mattress. Checked after breakfast following day, was told too early, all during the day. I did, then told to check when coming back. I did, but nothing available. Then the lift situation; only 2 for the entire 36 floor hotel. And only 6 people allowed at one time. You guessed it, lots of waiting and braving stairs. The hotel is very dated. Showers were nice and room was clean. Would not stay again though

Great place to stay

We had a great stay. The elevator is not working well so we had to take stairs a few times from the 13th floor! The hotel staff was helpful and kind! The beds were comfortable and everything worked great!

Nedslidt hotel på en god lokation

Personalet gjorde et ok forsøg på at få et meget nedslidt hotel til at fungere. Lokationen er god og central, hvis man kan acceptere hotellets tilstand og en morgenmads menu der er uden grøntsager og ikke har nogen sunde valg.

The people at this hotel were all very kind and attentive. The room was clean, but very tired and far too small. Plus our room was left unsecured by our housekeeper while we were out for 9 hours. Finally the housekeeper failed to rehang a shower curtain. I would not stay here again.

Great stay. We stayed on the top floor with a city view. Air conditioning kept the room cool when we wanted it to. Water in the shower was always hot. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was as expected. All in all, the price was what I would expect for a comfortable and safe stay near times square and close to metro stations.
