From Loyal Guest to Deeply Disappointed
I have been staying at this hotel for the past 12 years, even during the COVID period, so I know very well that the rooms are old. However, this time the experience was simply unacceptable.
The room (705) looked fine at first, but during my 5-day stay all the deficiencies became evident: broken drawers, the clothesline in the bathroom was unusable because the cable was missing (only one side of the hook was there), the sink was leaking and flooding the floor every single day, the bathroom extractor fan didn’t work, and the condensation after a shower with the door closed was unbearable.
The bathtub had no stopper, so it was impossible to use it for a bath – it only functioned as a makeshift shower tray. On top of that, the bathroom sockets didn’t work, so I had to shave and dry my hair in the room.
I have been coming here for over a decade and I know the hotel is old, but this time the room conditions were completely unacceptable and far below the standard expected from a hotel listed on Hotels.com. Very disappointing.
