The bath water in the bathroom is not hot, and after communicating with the front desk, it is still not solved. The sound of the alarm kept going noise at night until three o 'clock in the morning, so that people could not sleep, it was really bad, the hotel staff knew about it, no one to solve it, almost the whole building heard it. Having to catch a plane at 5am and not being able to sleep is a terrible experience!

I recently stayed at the Ramada Georgetown Princes

I recently stayed at the Ramada Georgetown Princess Hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel offers a convenient location just outside central Georgetown, with spacious grounds and a beautiful view of the Demerara River. The staff was polite and professional, always willing to assist with any requests. The rooms were large, comfortable, and had strong air conditioning — very important in the local climate. Wi-Fi was available throughout the hotel, although at times the connection speed varied. The on-site restaurant had a decent variety of dishes, and breakfast was included and served buffet-style with both local and international options. There's also a casino, gym, and a pool area, which adds value for travelers looking for extra leisure during their stay. That said, a few areas could use improvement. Some of the facilities feel a bit dated, and occasional delays in room service or maintenance responses were noticeable. With a bit more attention to upkeep and quicker service response, the overall experience would be even better. In conclusion, the Ramada Georgetown is a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers. With good amenities and friendly service, it offers one of the better hotel experiences in the area.

This hotel should be condemned

Where do I begin? Let’s start with I booked for business using our online booking tool and we had a change of dates due to the holiday. One month before my trip, I tried contacting the hotel via email and phone call multiple times with no answer. The travel agent even tried unsuccessfully. We had to do a separate booking to add the extra days onto the stay. When it came to the check-in, they couldn’t retrieve the booking initially because the front desk didn’t know how to read a passport that shows last name first and then proceeded to argue with me that I booked under the wrong first name. Now to the quality of the room, the toilet seat was completely broken, the toilet brush was dirty and just laying on the floor. There was rust everywhere and the shower water ran brown the entire time. The bed sheets were obviously dirty and there were several stains on the linens and roaches. The housekeeper informed me that there is only one towel per room even though we had booked a double room, and the front desk did nothing about it. We were there for 4 days and the room wasn’t even cleaned once. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Now to the service, the front desk was not helpful at all, there is a room service menu that says room service is available 24 hours a day, however every time we tried to order something, room service was not available. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE, We will take our business visits for our company back to grand coastal. We were extremely disappointed with this hotel.

Pay More and go elsewhere !!

I read a lot of bad reviews and still decided to book a room at this hotel trying to give them a chance. The room conditions were disgusting. You can tell the room attendance did not do a thorough cleaning. Showers were dirty, soap scum in the sinks. Leaking AC, mold stains on the walls. Stains on the sheets. Dead bugs not swept. Mirrors dirty. Mutilple roaches encounters. switched rooms and still the same situation.

The location was great and the kitchen staff were wonderful however the rooms are not up to par. There was bugs in the room which I complained and ws told they would change my room that did not happen, One day my room was not cleaned I hade to call the manager to explain. I was also left without towels so I hade to call front desk to request twice. The cleaning staff dont seem to have any passion or dont know how to clean, The shower stall has bee neglected there is mold all around which is not healthy. the door into the dinning room is very filthy and needs to be cleaned. There is a funny sent as you walk in the foyer and that should be fresh and inviting. Overall, I was not pleased with the cleanliness.

The hotel had the worst smell on the floor went as soon as you walk out of the elevator. The staff was very rude and unfriendly. I always have to ask for clean towels. In the rooms the safe was not work the the tv was not work the lights was not working, the drapes was half not closing properly.
