Took my 2 daughters to this resort, I have stayed at Bahia Principe before in Jamaica, I had a bad experience there but decided to give this another try. Needless to say, everything about this trip was great. From check-in to check-out it was wonderful. Upon arrival, we were abl to talk to the front desk, he was kind enough to let us know our room wasn’t ready yet, which was expected since we had arrived by 12pm. We were able to grab drinks and get there in time for lunch at the buffet. After an hour we got notification that our room was ready. The bellboy was very kind in taking us to our room. We got a swim-up, total game changer. The layout of the room (2 queen beds) was very weird. When you enter the room the shower is right next to the front door, the sink in front of the shower and I appreciated the bathroom being separated from the rest but I thought it was unnecessary for the glass door to be frosted. The lighting in the room was not at all great, (my make up girlies, beware) after you make it past the front of the room and past the beds there’s the walk out section where the swim up pool is, that was the highlight of the whole experience. Shout out to Yesenia for catering to us, she was amazing making sure we had prosecco for our mimosas. We were in the middle of the main lobby & the public pool. The pool water was too warm for my liking, I preferred my swim-up. I was unable to enjoy any part of the beach as it was seaweed season (my first time experiencing this)
