-The back balcony was difficult to open and almost broke a finger in the process. -Black bugs from balcony coming in - Floor look like it wasn’t finished, showing carpet underneath. - 2nd bathroom toilet didn’t work. Had to open lid to manually flush. - main bathroom toilet handle barely worked - shower spilled all over the place, barely a lip to hold it in. The place felt more fore a wheelchair accessible person to get in and around versus what we saw online, the up keep didn’t look appealing. - The showers barely had a stream, there were 2 showers, other was a tub, it didn’t have a very functional handle or shower, the water pressure wasn’t strong. Staff was great but we would consider other properties around Disney.

Great location. Staff was super friendly especially MJ at check in. Our room was located along the Wilson outdoor bar. Wish we could've just ordered and had brought to our 1st floor balcony right behind the musicians... but ordering was overly complicated with apps and needing to attach card which was used at check in so you would think everything was attached to room. Went to Wilson's and then couldn't even use the resort bracelet so it's only purpose is to open doors. Alas one of the reasons I chose this hotel was because Hotels.com listed as a perk was a complimentary drink for guest and other benefits... got none of the benefits, no drinks, upgrades anything. Which is not a reflection on the hotel but Hotels.com....also app would not let me attach pictures so theres that 🙅‍♀️. Had great view of Wilsons from room.

My husband and I stayed at the Melia for ten nights. We were there for a medical procedure. The room was large and clean, we were able to make meals and enjoy fresh air on the balcony. The restaurant offered a delicious gluten free pizza which I enjoyed. My husband was able to begin his recovery at this hotel very comfortably and we enjoyed our stay despite the circumstances of our visit. We would stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

Spur of the moment choice for the night. Large complex with very large and quiet room. Safe and attractive area. Our only complaint was a noisy AC unit. Pool area was beautiful but we did not swim. They also had a dog play area. Restaurant on premises but we chose to dine elsewhere.

Stayed at Melia Orlando recently and… oof. Where do I begin? Let’s start with the front desk. The energy? Cold. The vibe? Off. The hospitality? Nonexistent. The older woman working during our check-in was so dismissive, it honestly felt like we were bothering her just by existing. And this wasn’t a “maybe I’m just sensitive” thing—three separate adults in our group picked up on it without comparing notes. The way we were treated left us feeling like outsiders, and yeah, that’s not a good look in the hospitality industry. Then there was the food. We thought we were grabbing a casual meal at the hotel restaurant. Instead, we waited forever for what can only be described as a middle school art project disguised as pizza. My husband’s Margherita pizza looked like a cry for help, and he’s not even picky—he’s frugal. Like, “brings coupons to Costco” frugal. And he said he’d rather pay more next time and stay somewhere better. That says a lot. The hotel itself was clean, and it felt relatively safe, which I do appreciate. But the resort fees? Whew. Nothing like getting financially jump-scared at checkout. It’s the classic “Here’s the price! Just kidding, gotcha B!” move. Overall, I really wanted to love this place. I booked it thinking I was doing the “budget-friendly but still nice” thing. Instead, I left feeling like I paid premium prices for Dollar Tree energy.
Unfortunately but not surprisingly this is the only photo in or around the hotel I took during our stay. Don’t park across the street.

Restaurant was good but pricey. Room was okay. Bathroom has poor lighting, toilet didn’t flush well. Bed was okay, overall I’m happy I only stayed 1 night and not longer.

Check in and out was super quick. I love the idea of wristband key access! The rooms felt more like condos than hotel rooms. Due to allergies, I only stay in hotels without carpet, and this room was nice and clean. It was nice the bed was set far from the hallway. When I saw the amount of young kids (12 and under) with their families at the pool on spring break playing ball at the pool and being super loud I was afraid I wouldn't be able to sleep but that was far from the case because I couldn't hear any noise whatsoever when in the room. I couldn't be more thrilled to enjoy a peaceful nights rest. The mattress was also extremely comfortable and to the point where I just had bought a new high end mattress a couple months ago and I was still curious where this one was from. I was disappointed that other guests didn't respect the well maintained hotel, leaving their trash and used towels at the pool chairs, but there was staff continuously cleaning it up. I had stayed in 3 hotels across Florida that week and this was by far the best staffed hotel. The EV charger was out of service, which was a little inconvenient, but I found high speed charging at a 7-11 in Celebration. This hotel will definitely be a top contender for any trips I take to Orlando!
