Lovely stay at the Rosemount hotel in Pitlochry for some November hikes in the Cairngorns. The staff were lovely, in particular Phie was very friendly and attentive for all our breakfast servings. Delicious and hearty breakfast every morning with decent variety. The room was very cosy with just enough space to dry our wet hiking clothes when we needed. The water pressure in the shower was poor but a good excuse to have a decadent bubble bath!

Room very small. No heating 1st night, moved to other room and heating in en-suite wouldn’t turn off!! Showers just a trickle of water. Bar facilities closed before 9 pm ( think they were short staffed.) Poor choice at breakfast and ran out of what I’d ordered for one morning

Chambre spacieuse et literie très confortable. L’hôtel Rosemount est situé dans un quartier calme et dans une très belle bâtisse en pierre . Les petits déjeuner y sont excellents ! Le personnel est très serviable et sympathique.

Staff were very accommodating. A little disappointed with breakfast. we weren't advised we needed to put a time on the breakfast order that we would arrive in the dinning room, this meant we had one hour to wait till we were served our cooked breakfast. we were all disappointed with the breakfast with the burnt potato scone to half portion of black pudding and haggis.

Dårlig service og oplevelse

Ved check-in var værten mest interesseret i at få os til at udfylde et skema om morgenmad - helt ned til detaljen om vi ville have cornflakes eller müsli. Det føltes helt forkert at skulle udspørges på den måde, når vi mest var interesseret i værelset og at få wifi-adgang. Han glemte helt at give os koden. Morgenmaden var kedelig, værten stresset under servering. Værelset var småt og vandtrykket på badeværelset var så dårligt, at vi knap nok kunne vaske shampoo uden. Vil ikke anbefale dette hotel.

No soundproofing between rooms

The stay was disappointing. We never felt welcome since arriving at the hotel. The room was OK, but there was no pressure in the shower. The double bed was uncomfortable. There was no soundproofing between rooms, meaning that we could hear everything from the other rooms, be it dog barking or people being on the toilet. It also means that bringing ear plugs is a necessity to get some sleep here. The breakfast was included, but not worth it.
