Great location, clean room, and nice staff.
Great check-in. Parking at the hotel is valet only and ridiculously expensive. Elevator needs a repair or two--control panel was taped together with masking tape! Breakfast was definitely a nice variety. The ladies working it were so nice and helpful. They work their behinds off keeping everything clean and stocked. Beds were comfortable. Room temperature was easily adjustable and very quick. The bathtub needed a good drain cleaning as it was super slow to drain while showering. Fridge was useful but wish it had a freezer. Ice machine in the hall worked great. The housekeeping staff was nice and worked hard. My only complaint is that they speak little to no English. They're mostly Haitian Creole they explained through a translator app. They need to learn English when u work in the service industry. The location is great. Close to most everything. Watch the crosswalk in front. My daughter and I were almost hit by a car that ran the red light. Saw it happen another time as well. The rooftop pool and hot tub were great, but hot tub is small. The lounge cabana area by the pool was sooo nice. They need working outlets for phone chargers up there. It's not a cheap hotel for being a Holiday Inn Express, but it's because you're paying for the location. Overall really pleasant stay!

The room was clean. The TV quality was awful. One of the two elevators had the button board masking tapped on to the wall. Two of the 4 drink machines were broken only two of the 6 ice machines worked. 6 am and house keeping is slamming the door that was right next to our bedroom so much for sleeping in and relaxing. I counted the door slamming from 0600-0900 at least 17 times. I told the front desk and she literally said oh sorry. So either pay $30 to park yourself and paying $5 every time you re enter or $45 to valet park. Then received my car back with everything in my trunk slung side ways and everything out of the bags. It was a great location. Overall clean. Other than the shower door was broken and shower head was rusty and mildewed. Everytime flushed the toilet we had to flush it twice and hold it. It was like it was clogged. For the price I paid for this room and the parking. Sorry they could’ve comped something due to the housekeeping waking us up at 0600. And the breakfast was a joke.

Don’t plan to check in on time.
This hotel is really nice but we were told check in time was 4pm. We arrived at 4:50 and were told our room was not ready and then the manager took over and gave us a room that was NOT what we paid for. We paid for a king size bed with a walk in shower. We were given two double beds with a regular tub and a view of the parking structure. When I went back to the lobby to question it, I was told I would have to wait an infinite amount t of time for a king room. She then told me this room was almost $100 cheaper so rather than sit and wait in the tiny lobby, we kept the room we were assigned. I just looked and our credit card was not debited. I’m very disappointed and will not stay here again. I don’t know why rooms were not ready when they said they would be. Plus, it was another $45 to park. Another guest we met said his wifi didn’t work for 3 days and he was there for a conference!

Location is perfect for a quick walk down town and to all local historic attractions! Staff were extremely helpful with information on free trolly rides through town (the breakfast staff were the best of all). We will definitely be back to stay again one day!

Our stay was great. The hotel was very clean and every member of the staff went above the expectations we had. I highly recommend this hotel. We especially enjoyed the location in regards to the riverside area with all the restaurants and bars. The only downside was, without realizing it, our stay coincided with st Patrick holiday weekend, everything was packed. I would highly recommend this hotel and location to anyone wanting to be in this area.
