There was an "Excuse the Mess" type of sign for to renovations happening, but...... there were so many things not relatd to renovations that needed immediate attention. We had to get a second room because the first one had no power on one side of ths room (lights, plugs, nothing had power). Plus it was cleanish, but needed some attention. We got to our second room that had working power. The trim on the door was pulled loose from the wall. The bathtub looked dirty, but I believe it was just alot of wear and tear showing. Walls paper thin. Also beware of the tv situation. It is not easy to use and takes some time to figure out. If the volume randomly stops working, you have to push a reset button on the back of the tv to get it to work again.
And the smell....the lobby smelled like sulfur and one of the elevators seemed like sour milk.
Breakfast was ok. Nothing fancy.
We will not stay there again. Hope your experience is better than mine.
