Absolutely the worst Garden Inn I've ever stayed at. First, you should know, the hotel is under renovation. The lobby is completely torn apart. There is plastic hanging from all of the walls, exposed drywall and temporary desks being used as the front desk. This also means that the onsite "restaurant" is unavailable, so instead they have set up some card tables in the lobby and made a makeshift buffet and bar. Both of which were kind of pathetic. The buffet had only a few choices (no waffles, oatmeal) the bar has a beer tap that must be hooked to a keg underneath the table. Sounds nice, right? The best part, though, was that because the buffet was now in the lobby people, rightly, assumed it was free. And instead of setting up any type of cordon or other barrier to prevent people from just walking up to it, they instead had a blonde woman in the area who would run after anyone who approached saying in a loud voice (she seemed to only speak in a loud voice) "Excuse me! You need to check in! What is your name?!" I listened to this constantly while trying to eat breakfast. I was embarrassed for the guests, but more embarrassed for the employee who didn't seem to realize how annoying it was to everyone present. The clerk at the front desk decided to bring her dog with her to work on Thanksgiving day, and the dog sat, without a leash at the front desk. Room was outdated and smelled stale. Would not stay here ever again.
