Lovely property, tragic shower
Room was comfortable. Service excellent. Balconies for the rooms are a great addition. Pool area is lovely. Bathroom is a tragedy. Not as pictured. The bathroom is a wet room. The shower is not sealed. It did not flow properly towards the drain so the whole place gets wet.

Don't ask for a shuttle
We stay here often and the hotel is clean with large enough rooms and the staff is very helpful. We used the shuttle service from the airport for the third time in as many trips and again it was a horrible experience. We made reservations and found others waiting for the shuttle. Unfortunately no shuttle showed up. Eventually a young girl came up fifteen minutes after the shuttle was supposed to pick us up where we were told to wait for the shuttle by the reception desk. She said oh we were supposed to find her so she could tell the shuttle to come. What an idiotic stupid way to do things. If people have a reservation for a shuttle it should come regardless! Why do we need to look for someone to tell them to call the shuttle! This is the third bad experience with the shuttle from Country Inn. We are loyal customers but the third time may make us stay somewhere else with a ontime shuttle service.

Stay somewhere else
This hotel is about a 25 minute drive from the airport, its not 3 miles as stated. Also prepare for a $25 shuttle fee each way, ans it only runs oncean hour. The hotel.is worn, and not as nice as the photos.

Nice stay in the city
Very nice, reasonably priced hotel w shuttle to/from sjo airport, about 10min away. Comfy bed,.plenty of hot water, restaurant on site with good (if slightly pricey) food, great breakfast buffet, lovely pool area. Would stay again. On list for Interbus tour/shuttle service.

Country Inn SJO
The hotel is a little older but in very good condition. What keeps bringing us here is the service and friendliness of the staff and willingness to go the extra mile. We enjoy the breakfast buffet and again the service given at the restaurant. We are always treated like family.

Shuttle service great, road noise not so much
Great outreach from the front desk re the incoming shuttle service. All that worked very well. The location was not really cloae to the airport but it was very well placed for local restaurants (5 min walk). Breakfast was good but not special. Swimming pools and grounds looked great but we did not use. Unfortunately we were upgraded to a suite and the road noise was excessive. And there was no hot water in the morning for showers. Everything in the suite was faded and in serious need of a refresh. All that said, the price was reasonable. A room with hot water closer to the pools and away from the road noise would have been a lot better for us.

Hotel velho sem elevador e cama boa
Hotel velho, precisando de reforma. Não tem elevador como a maioria das hospedagens na Costa Rica. Mas um funcionário ajuda com as malas. Quarto espaçoso e cama boa. Atendeu ao que precisávamos que era uma noite em um hotel próximo do aeroporto.
