OH MY GOODNESS! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! SPECTACULAR! The yard and home are beautiful. I received a very warm welcome from Chemise. She served delicious breakfasts in the dining room every morning and was always available if I needed anything. Outside there are garden areas with chairs and tables. It was wonderful to sit and relax while hearing their water fountains. Amethyst Garden Inn is in a great neighborhood. Easy to walk to restaurants, shops and tourist spots. The very elegant room I stayed in was gorgeous. I felt like a Queen❣️

We couldn’t resist this property from the first time we saw the pictures. It was exactly as described and we felt like we were living 200+ years ago but with modern conveniences. This house is a purple beauty. The manager Chemise went to a lot of effort to make things special for us. She explained her connection to the house and gave us the history, prepared a wonderful breakfast every morning and helped us get oriented with things to do in Savannah. The property is lovely and quiet - the owner was on site doing maintenance while we were there; but everything was in perfect order in our room. The decor is comfortable yet elegant. We enjoyed the character in the house. The property is secured with locked gates, and the area is safe. For us it was convenient to park our car and walk all weekend - we never needed to drive until our trip over to Tybee Island.
