This hotel was great. Located in the heart of the town. Close to Chichen Itzá. Definitely recommend staying here.

Quaint and beautiful hotel in the middle of the jungle. We stayed here for just one night to visit Chichen Itza. We wish we our stay was longer. The hotel team we're very kind and attentive.

5 min away from chichen itza

Old hotel with kind of a motel feeling, to be honest a little pricy for what it is offering but definitely good enough for one night.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Bed mattress was a bit hard for me.Good restaurants nearby and very close to the ruins.

This hotel was incredibly clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. This hotel is in a very small town which worried us a bit because we know what small town hotels are like where we live. This was nothing like the small town hotels we're used to. This property including the restaurant blew us away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

2/10 Poor

The beds are HARD and the sheets are dirty and hard. When showering you feel u are sinking because the tub is so old. Asked the guy in the front desk for a cup of ice and he told me to go buy it across the street. The wifi is not good, nor the tv did the worked. Asked again the front desk about not having wifi or cable in the room and rudly he said it was due to the rain and that there was no wifi access in the rooms only in the lobby area. The only good thing about this stay was their breakfast. Otherwise, do not stay at this hotel, stay in Vallalodid. It's about 40 min drive from Chinen-Itza however, they have better hotels and staff is friendlier.

Wonderful stay

This is a meticulously maintained older hotel with impeccable service. The staff consistently delivered at a better level than I expected: i often wondered if they trained in a high end hotel before. While the facility is a bit older, everyone was impeccably dressed, courteous and perfectly trained and informed. The food was delicious, and served very fast. Everything was kept very clean with attention to detail, employees cooking food wore masks and hand sanitizer dispensers were present and filled in key locations. This is a great central location to work from to go to many of the sites in central Yucatán. A minor note: my room was not very sound proof: a lot of outside noise came in - including some pretty sounding but very loud nightbirds. It’s on the street so expect some background noise. This normally would be a problem for me but, the rest of the experience more than made up for it. I would go back in a second.

Disappointed with the Chichen Itza Stay

this is a high volume hotel that provides service to a large number of tourists, and as a result we felt the employees to be impersonal and too fast paced to provide good customer service. Maybe it was under staffed on the day we were there, if so not the employees fault, but managements, or maybe a lot of people had to call in sick that day. The reason we stayed at the hotel was so we could arrive at Chichen Itza at opening. We arrived at breakfast at 7 but they would not seat us till 7:15, delayed our arrival at Chichen…and waitress could manage a smile or offer a “sorry for opening late”.. Pizza dinner was not throughly baked and not what we ordered, ate it anyway. I usually don’t point out little gripes in reviews because no place is perfect but feel this hotel deserves a bad review.

Meget slidt hotel men venligt personale. Ok morgenmad. Kom sent og rejs tidligt. Godt hvis man skal besøge Chichen Itza.
