"Simply put, this hotel is the best in split. It’s in the middle of old town, everything is walkable. The hotel is kept in immaculate shape. Everything in it is upgraded. The rooftop is amazing it gives you spectacular views of the city. The staff is unmatched. I never write reviews but this hotel definitely deserves one. "
"My husband & I visited Split with our two children ages 6 & 9. We stayed for 2 nights and Hotel Kastel had everything we needed. It had a beautiful view from outside the bedroom windows, close distance to everything you could need in Split! If you have a car, the parking offered off-site is quite a ways away from the hotel, but that was told to use in advance. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Kastel!! "
"The staff is welcoming and friendly. I walked in, was tired, and they made me feel completely at ease even though I was out of sorts. They were fantastic."
"We stayed here for a couple of nights. Check in was easy and efficient. The room wasn’t ready, but we were early and were able to store our luggage and make use of the pool area on the roof. The area is compact, and gets busy. We were lucky to grab a couple of sun beds as someone left almost as soon as we arrived. The room was large and well appointed. It was described as looking over a courtyard. In reality, it’s a car park that belongs to the hospital which this hotel backs directly on to. Patients can see the hotels rooms, and likewise we theirs. Don’t be put off though, the privacy drapes and the curtains are enough. Breakfast was in good, as you’d expect for a hotel of this type. Didn’t use the bar or evening restaurant, but I expect they had a good offer. The hotel itself is a little on the edge of Split town, and a 15 - 20 walk in which is uphill in parts. We’d stay again. Heritage palace varos - Stayed 2 nights.
Beutiful hotel set in the old town close to harbour and centre.
We stayed in the annex which has its own door onto the street, these rooms are stunning.
Room had well equipped and good size bathroom with shower. Fridge and Tea and coffee making facilities, you will need your own coffee and milk as there was only fruit tea on offer.
Plenty of supermarkets within 5 minutes walk.
With the location being so central you have many restaurants available to choose from.
Uber from Split airport took around 40 minutes and cost xxxx
We did not have breakfast added to yhe room which is around €20 each.
Staff are extremely helpful, would definitely visit again.
