We love our first night in Turkey at Pera Bosphorus Hotel. We loved the restaurant choices however limited to similar options among all. We loved the atmosphere. Breakfast was AMAZING… Hotel and room were very clean. A big issue with shower not draining and mold noticed along edges of shower. Toilet seat in public bathroom on floor -1 was very loose. Since our stay was brief we didn’t make time to bring these issues to management. I am sure they would have been more than happy to take care of these concerns.

My favorite Hotel is Pera Bosphorus Hotel. Centrally located in Karaköy next to the Galataport. You can also view the Bosphorus , Maiden Tower, Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque from The loi Bosphorus Lounge on the 6th Flooor of the Hotel

A great location!

A great location!!!! Booked this hotel last minute for a short trip to Istanbul and was blown away at how conveniently located it was. Just minutes from Galata Tower, but also fairly close to Sultanahmet district (we walked there basically on accident took about 20 minutes). You’re also about a 2 minute walk to the Galata Port which is an amazing shopping area right on the Bosporus, absolutely gorgeous and many great shopping and dining options. Had no idea that existed and was so pleasantly surprised. You’re also conveniently located to the ferry port and tram station if you need to get around quickly. The hotel itself is nice. Everything is brand new and feels clean. Staff is very nice and helpful! One of the biggest downsides was the thin walls. You can truly hear any and everything happening around you. Neighbors to our left taking a shower, neighbors to the right talking on the phone, party boats cruising the Bosporus, music etc… another downside was no included breakfast as many hotels in Istanbul offer this. But there is no shortage of amazing food options VERY close by! If you’re looking for a decent place to lay your head for a fair price while spending most of your time out and about exploring this is the place!!
