Ideal Spot for Exploring Cuba St

The Intrepid Hotel in Wellington was a great base — right next to Cuba Street, so perfect for trying out different food and drink spots. The rooms were stylish and comfortable, and it had a nice laid-back feel that suited the area well.

Amazing Staycation Destination

Amazing location just off the main part of Cuba St. The room was great and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Puffin Bar downstairs was also great; super cool vibe and great service. Absolutely amazing staycation destination.

From the moment we checked in the staff at the Intrepid Hotel made us feel welcome. The amenities (breakfast pastries, turn down service, laundry facilities, etc.) were amazing. The hotel was also walking distance to a number of good bars and restaurants.
