Nice location in the mountains, great starting point. Value for money is very good, the room was comfortable. There is a newly renovated pool area with jacuzzi and sauna which was nicer than in some 5 star hotels. The breakfast was ok for a few days, it’s nothing special. Staff very friendly. When you’re looking for an affordable place to stay for a few days, this is the place for you.

Solar de Boaventura Peaceful, Tranquil, Relaxing

The staff was welcoming, the hotel is very clean, the food and the Chef are amazing! Everyone was pleasant and willing to help whenever required. The grounds around the hotel are beautiful and peaceful. There are nooks and crannies with benches, tables, chairs to sit and relax. The indoor pool is huge. The view from the hotels magnificent with mountains, mist and beautiful scenery. You MUST experience this hotel!
As a vegan it's awesome to find staff and Chef working to create a dessert for me Orange Juice Cake!

Very nice located hotel with a lush garden, great swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Nice service, pretty good restaurant. We booked a double bed room for 81 Euros/Night and got one in the old part with a bit outdated furniture and no balcony. Surprisingly the hotel was a bit clairaudient. That was okay for us but the mattress was horrible: when your partner turned in the (narrow) bed you almost fell out of it. Furthermore the pillows were way too small and soft. The bathroom was okay, but there was a smell coming out of the sink. The breakfast was disappointing: really really standard, except some fruits nothing fresh. The bred and croissants tasted nothing. The coffee was good. So overall I recommend when you book there to insist to get a room in the newer part, where the beds are hopefully better.

--- Subject: Extremely Disappointing Experience I recently stayed at [solar de Boaventura ] and unfortunately had a very negative experience was overcharged for my stay, and despite my attempts to resolve the issue, it seems that the staff was more focused on finding ways to charge extra rather than addressing my concerns. There was only one staff member, Sara, who appeared to be listening to my issues, but the overall lack of friendliness and support from the rest of the team was disheartening. I ended up leaving a day early and had to pay for another hotel because I simply couldn’t stay any longer. Additionally, the lack of convenient transportation options, such as taxis or Uber, made it even more challenging. To top it off, there was no water provided in the room, which is a basic expectation. I was promised that I would receive a refund for the extra charge, but I have yet to see any follow-up on that. Overall, this was a very bad experience, and I hope that my feedback will lead to improvements for future guests. Thank you. ---

Staff was very nice. Very basic accommodation- no AC, dark, small room, food ok, but expensive for what it is. Nice pool, lukewarm hot tub, good shower pressure. Bed is super uncomfortable, hard, springy. There may be better rooms in the updated building, but I don’t know.

Parties communes mieux que notre chambre

Chambre correcte mais un seul oreiller par personne, une couverture (et non une couette, attention pour les allergiques) et un lit pour 2 de petite taille, grande et belle sdb, vue bouchée par une haie devant le parking, isolation ok sauf si voisins bruyants comme les nôtres :-( Parties communes très élégantes de même que l’espace spa. Attention pas de places de parking pour tout le monde au sein de l’établissement malgré 2 parkings. Petit déjeuner ok mais sans plus.

Bodde der tre netter. Var stort sett på farten på dagtid, men sov og spiste frokost på hotellet. Ligger i en liten landsby og man bør ha bil for å komme til og fra. Fin hage og innendørs svømmebasseng som vi ikke rakk å prøve, men så rent og pent ut. Fine rom, men ganske lytt, spesielt fra spisesalen nedenunder.

Herrenhaus in wunderschöner Umgebung

Ein sehr schönes Landhaushotel mit 20 Zimmern. Sauber, sehr nettes Personal, Frühstück gut, Zimmer gross. In einem kleinen Dorf mit einem kleinen Geschäft, Snackbar, Apotheke, eine andere Bar. Mit Meerblicjmk, von Bergen u.geben. Schwimmbad mit Sauna eine tolle Sache. Abendessen im Hotel möglich. Ruhige Gäste, überwiegend ältere Wanderer. Im Winter (ich war Anfang Februar dort), an regnerischen und wi digen Tagen kann das Zimmer etwas kühl anfühlen, also am Besten warme Hausschuhe, warmes Pyjama und warme Sachen mitnehmen. Ein Heizkörper ist vorhanden wird von 16 Uhr bis ca 8 Uhr betrieben aber an kalten Tagen reicht er nicht, um das geräumige Zimmer richtig warm zu machen. Schöne Möbel im alten Quinta-Stil, unten ein sehr grosser Aufenthaltraum. Alles schön revoniert.
