Towels were changed and bed was made for 2nd day, which was lovely
Hotel itself looks tired
Breakfast was poorly managed, tables not cleared and food not restocked quicky enough

Wouldn’t recommend
On arrival/check in the member of staff on the deck was rude and not very forthcoming with information regarding my stay, like breakfast times and where to find the room. After finding the room I got inside to find a stained carpet and the room had a damp smell, this was bad enough for me to carry my bags back to the front deck and ask for a different room. When asked why I showed the rude woman a video I took of the carpet. Her reply was it’s not a dirty carpet but just an old carpet. The second room that I was given was just as bad. I did ask for my money back but was told they couldn’t because the booking was made through a third party. I’m going to upload all of the photos I took of the rooms. I also want to mention the photos on the website don’t not reflect this hotel at all.

Good Location but that’s all.
No food available when though we were told the restaurant was open until 20:30 and we requested food at 8pm. No choice at the bar, no lime, stood at the bar for 10 mins before anyone came to serve us. Generally tired hotel. Breakfast was average at best and coffee machines didn’t work properly and the drinks were Luke warm. Bread was moldy. Very noisy at night and woke up to noisy waste disposal outside the room.

Shocking Hotel stay
Not the best start, we arrived Friday and the reception charged me nearly the same price for my room as the price for 2 that was booked even though I showed confirmation. One room the door wouldn’t lock and could be pushed open without using key, when questioned at reception I was told to wait and someone would see me, half hour later we eventually had to the explain again to someone about the door not closing, after a time we asked to be given another room only to be told there wasn’t one and when I said I wanted a refund and I would go somewhere else miraculously they found a new room.
Staff are not friendly also in the bar we got a drink and the service was terrible with our glasses and bottles being slammed on the bar. No smiles either civility doesn’t cost anything.
For a stay that should have cost £300. they tried to charge £364. Hotels.com please be aware they are blaming you for sending the wrong prices to them, I eventually got my money back from them.
Also breakfast was a shambles, food not hot and looked like it wasn’t cooked properly, today we waited for 20 mins to even be seen to let them know we arrived, eventually we walked out and went to the local Tesco cafe for a well cooked and hot breakfast.
Overall I think this hotel needs a massive shake up and staff need to be retrained to treat people with respect and I and all of my friends will definitely never stay there again.
If I could give less than 1 star I would.
Never ever ever will I stay there.
