We lived in this hotel for five nights in mid Feb 2026. The triple bed room that we lived was spacious & big enough to accommodate our luggage. Beds & toilet are clean. The room already refurbished & equipped with a quiet cold & warm air conditioner. We can sleep in a quiet environment. But there’s no hot water supply in shower or face washing basin in first night. Reception staff are very helpful to arrange us to have shower in another room before they fixed the hot water supply problem next day. Location of this hotel is very good. A bus stop with bus lanes going to different tourist attractions such as Buckingham Palace. Three tube stations in short walkable distance. Lots of cafe or restaurants nearby. Although there’s still some renovation work going on in some part of the hotel, it’s still valuable to live here with such price.

Stayed for 3 nights (Feb 13th - Feb 16th) Advised of refurbishment work following booking. Entrance was now into a make shift reception area that fronted the breakfast bar. Advised reception following first night that tv in room 404 wasn't working (no signal). Still not working when we left on 16th Feb. Room was cleaned as expected following first and second night but left untouched on third day. My impression is that the hotel is being run on a shoestring until the refurbishment is completed. Will return following completion of refurbishment.

Kwaliteit prijsverhouding vind ik niet kloppen, maar dat is wat je krijgt in grote steden, dus was te verwachten. De foto's zijn altijd mooier dan de werkelijkheid. Wat ik echt vond tegenvallen was de badkamer. De kraan functioneerde slecht en de douche was echt te koud (alleen warme kraan helemaal open en dan nog niet warm genoeg). Niet comfortabel en verouderd. Er vonden ook verbouwingswerkzaamheden plaats, waardoor het water een deel van de dag was afgesloten, maar als je weg bent heb je daar geen last van. De bar 's avonds was ongezellig en sfeerloos, geen muziekje of niks. En meestal gesloten. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en prima. Goede bereikbaarheid en ligging in veilige buurt.

Hotel was fine and within 10 minutes walk from Paddington train station. Was biding for work and room was basic but clean and secure. Staff were friendly. Didn't eat in the hotel. Would stay again for basic stop over.

L’hôtel est bien situé. A partir d’ici, on peut facilement visiter London aussi bien à pieds qu’en transports en commun. Hotel est calme et on y dort bien. Le petit déjeuner est médiocre. Il y a des travaux qui vont durer longtemps, mais ils ne travaillent pas les WEEK-ENDS

Unfortunately, the condition of our room was far below an acceptable hotel standard and significantly affected our stay. 1) Toilet not functioning – unable to flush properly The toilet in our room was not working properly during our stay. We were unable to flush normally and repeatedly had to attempt multiple flushes (and in some cases use additional water) for it to work at all. When we contacted reception, we were told that this was “normal in the UK” and that you “just need to flush three times.” This response was dismissive and does not solve the issue. A toilet that cannot flush properly is a basic hygiene and maintenance problem and should be handled immediately. 2) Unacceptable bed – extremely uncomfortable The bed was extremely uncomfortable and did not meet a reasonable standard. The mattress felt uneven and hard, with noticeable pressure points across the surface and no proper mattress topper. This caused discomfort throughout the night and significantly disrupted our sleep. 3) Dangerous shower temperature – caused burn injury The shower temperature was unstable and shifted between ice cold and extremely hot with no consistent middle temperature. While showering, the water suddenly turned burning hot without warning and caused scalding burns on my feet. My feet were red afterwards and one foot remained painful. Although there may be a warning sign in the bathroom, this does not excuse a shower system that can suddenly cause injury.

It was ok. Unfortunately the keycard didn't work the first time - had to return to reception. One lift working at the moment too due to renovations. So everything slower than usual. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff on reception and at breakfast very friendly and welcoming. Reception area and public areas on ground floor bright, clean and modern. Bedroom did not reflect the images on the website. Room was small with just enough space to move around the bed. Bathroom was very small and in need of an upgrade.
