One of the only few pet friendly hotels in Cairns. Good location, close enough to restaurants, esplanade etc to walk dogs to. Good aircon and amazing shower.

Arrival: We arrived around Noon and were advised that Check In was 2.00. However if we wanted an early check in the cost was an extra $60!!! The gentleman at Reception must have had a bad day as his attitude was not one that you would expect at a hotel arrival. Not rude but not at all welcoming. We left our bags and came back around 3.30 to check in. The next gentleman was much more receptive. The standard room on the 1st floor was one of the smallest I have encountered. $175 for one night!!! Would we return? I doubt it.

The beds and sheets were nice and clean, the bathroom was good enough for a motel. AC, TV and mini fridge were a real bonus, all worked great and there were plenty of power outlets which was very useful. For the price and location I’d be happy to stay again.
