The property was very nice, it was clean, it was friendly, although there were some issues with our bed and bathroom, the bed had a stain on it by the heads, and the toilet had an unpleasant odor in it. The staff were accommodating and pleasant to work with, and also there is a Burger King right beside the hotel.

Rather than staying in Amsterdam city centre this trip I tried the Ibis, about five kilometres out. The room was very clean, comfortable and functional. The staff are amazing looking after all my requests. The bus transportation is excellent leaving from across the street every fifteen minutes ( a little longer at times in the weekend) then only a fifteen minute ride to Amsterdam Centraal. On the return trip the bus stops right in front

Odd people wandering about the area, we even had panhandlers come up to us while sitting at tables outside the property asking for money. Others were obviously sizing us up to see if we were gullible (which we are not). Very unpleasant!

A good enough stay

The hotel is in a very good state. The room was quiet and the blackout curtains kept the room very dark so that morning light did not disturb sleep. We did not choose to have breakfast at the hotel. However all amenities from the hotel were very expensive so beware. The food from the snack bar was expensive, the bike rental was expensive so do not bother. The receptionist were not very knowledgeable about things and they are also very young and inexperienced. Today's society. The hotel is not that near to the city so this is something else you need to be aware of. You will need to take a bus back and forth.

Hôtel sympa pour un court séjour. Emplacement (4/5) : un peu excentré e, il est tout de même bien desservi par le bus (22) et une gare. Il n'y a pas grand chose à proximité immédiate, c'est une zone industrielle. Personnel (4/5) : Personnel d'accueil aimable et attentionné. Le seul point négatif va au personnel de ménage. Confort (4/5) : Chambre classique Ibis surface confortable, avec tous les équipements nécessaires (clim, tablette, rangement, TV - une seule chaîne en français). Wifi de qualité. Literie (3/5) : le lit est assez grand mais le matelas n'est pas très qualitatif Salle de bains petite mais fonctionnelle. Propreté (2/5) : à l'arrivée des restes de déchets au sol, de la poussière etc. Le ménage n'est pas fait en cours du séjour dans la salle de bain (seules les serviettes sont changées).
