Beds were comfortable enough. Bedding felt cheap. Shower curtain was very short which caused water to puddle on the floor. Pictures on-line made this hotel seem nicer then what it was. Very noisy if you have a room near the pool. Ice machine, people talking, plus pulling roller bags past these rooms was annoying. The extra charge for breakfast was too expensive for a basic continental breakfast that was offered.

Stay was 10/31/25 - 11/1/25; went for Halloween night at Universal. First hotel I've stayed in where "renovated rooms" had actually been renovated somewhat recently. All furnishings were in good shape, not the most expensive things, but good. Three negatives...bed was too firm for my liking; room was near where housekeeping starts their day and cart noise woke me early. Advertising said there was a shuttle to Universal. After arrival I found the shuttle was only for daytime and nothing for the Halloween evening we planned.

Nice hotel if you're going to the theme parks and you wont stay long in the hotel, although no window to open in the room, had to rely on the air con for air flowage which left us with dry sore throats. Nice surrounding area for tourists, no shortage of dining options.

Solo trip

The check in process was very smooth & the staff was very friendly. They offer a free shuttle to and from WDW and Universal Studios Orlando. It is also walking distance from many restaurants, fast-food, and stores. I stayed here solo and felt pretty safe. I only gave 4 stars due to cleanliness in the room.

My stay was pleasant . Beds were clean and staff was great . Pool was also clean and warm . One issue I did have was that amenities were lacking . Room phone was off so I couldn’t call hotel staff , no towels for pool . Little things like this didn’t truly affect my stay but would have been nicer to have . Overall for the price point I highly recommend !

The property is very convenient, well located, the hotel overall is good but we stayed in the first floor and you are a light sleeper you can hear everything, i was awake super early due to all the noise, then the hot water didn't have enough pressure, so u had to take a shower with very minimum hot water.. mattress was good if you are staying a couple of nights...

Would stay again

This hotel was perfect for our needs. We spent a week here while visiting the local theme parks. It had a small fridge and microwave, which makes a huge difference. The room was clean and quiet. I felt safe walking around the hotel. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the pool a few times during our trip. I do wish the pool area opened sooner as I would’ve liked to sit outside in the morning while I waited for my kids to wake up. But that definitely wasn’t a deal breaker. I would stay here again when we are in the Orlando area.

AC and humidity issues

The first night we had an issue with the AC and humidity in our room, but maintenance was there in 15 minutes and took care of it. Around 2am the AC started acting up.again and had a very loud noise. We had a bad night when it came to sleep. The second room was so much better and the man at the front desk took care of getting us a new room within minutes. Great customer service. Both rooms are very humid, but we live in Florida, so we get it. Beds were comfortable, pillows were a 5 out of 10. Very clean.

Overall the stay was good. The property itself needs a bit of upgrades. Especially the walkway to the elevator that smelled horrendous. Staff was friendly especially the breakfast ladies. Very welcoming and serviceable. The front desk was average in terms of helpfulness. However, one staff at the front with glasses and bald was very indifferent when speaking to us. It was as if he was upset about us asking questions. The hotel is at a good spot and walkable to universal studios. KFC at the corner seemed sketchy but we went there for something cheap and the vibe wasn’t so bad if you need something cheap and quick to grab.

If you are looking for a "no-frills", clean hotel near Universal, this is a great option! We didn't spend much time in the hotel, but the on-site laundry, while busy at night, was handy. The pool was clean. We were looking for a reasonable place to stay to enjoy Universal and this was perfect for us. We like to walk and it was an easy 1 mile walk to/from City Walk (Universal and Islands of Adventure). We walked to and from Universal each day since the free shuttle options weren't right for our time schedule. Additionally, there are lots of restaurants and a great outlet mall all within a mile or two of the hotel. The hotel has free, on-site parking which was extremely helpful. Also, this hotel is an easy 15-20 minute drive to the airport.
