酒店总的来讲还是比较不错的，只是觉得前台服务应该略加改进，房间卫生较好，但是空调是老式的所以声音有点大。

My weekend at the Best Western!

The rooms have just been renovated. Everything looked great, but there was an issue with the tub spout. It was installed incorrectly and was spraying water back into the tub surround (I'm a plumber) and the water was leaking through to the other side of the wall. The floors were soaked. The new "smart" TV didn't work because the Wi-Fi signal was so weak, you weren't able to stream. My wife walked out the side entrance door to smoke a cigarette and encountered a homeless women smoking crack in the stair well. But to be fair, the lady did offer to share!!.. lol. I sh*t you not! I'm laughing now, but my wife was a little pissed off about it. This hotel has potential, but until these issues have been addressed. We will not be back, nor will we recommend it to friends and family.

Basic hotel

The beds were clean and fairly comfortable. There was hair on the bathroom floor, and I killed at least 3 little roach-like bugs. The hooks to hang things in the bathroom had been ripped out. There were no towel racks. There was not maid service so we had to get clean towels and more coffee. They had a coffee maker and a fridge in the room. Liquid soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner were provided (not the little bottles, but larger containers on the wall). Breakfast was basic, but adequate. The hotel is close to the train that goes into town. There are several breweries and restaurants within walking distance. It was an inexpensive stay with just the basics provided.

Expected for the price

Overall decent stay for the pricing. Unfortunately our tv wasn’t the best quality and didn’t allow us to watch many channels. Also felt kind of stuffy, there wasn’t an exhaust fan in the bathroom so made the room damp. Also the phone didn’t work. But service was decent and overall felt very clean.

Breakfast Ends WAY Too Early! Rude Workers!

The overall stay really wasnt bad, but im highly disappointed with the breakfast time! I assumed it wouldnt be over until around 10 or 11 AM (since I saw nothing in my email about it). When i came downstairs at 855 i asked one of tne workers in the serving area and she rudely said "now!". Then shut the doors whilst i was hastily preparing my plate. I told her i needed to come back and get me a juice and even then she had a nasty attitude about it. My family are still asleep so they didnt even have the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast at all! Ending it at 9AM is WAY too early, and was never adequately communicated!!! And co-workers handling the food were immensely rude! So we will not be coming back to this location at all!

Horrible bed!

Room and bed were incredibly uncomfortable. The bed only had tiny throw size pillows. I had to go to Walmart at 10 pm to buy normal sized pillows al we could get a decent nights sleep. The bed was hard and the sheets were gray and dingy.

We checked in and were informed the elevator was down. The lady had us on the 3rd floor and did offer the 2nd, but that wouldn’t make much of a difference. We had to go down the hall and out the door to the stairs outside of the building with people smoking. The bathroom floor was dirty with public hairs and spills, the toilet seat was on crooked, and the sink had hairs in it. We were there long enough to check in, get ready for a cheer competition and leave. By the time we got back it was dark and we had to have a friend go with my daughter and myself because it was dark out and there were people wandering around outside the hotel as well as around the stairwell we had to use to get to our room. It felt very unsafe for two females to be alone. We went back long enough to gather our items and check out. We might’ve occupied the room for a total of 2 hours. Would not stay again. When we checked out the guy just said we were good to go, didn’t ask questions, so I didn’t bother explaining why we were leaving. Hoping for a refund but the hotel of course has yet to respond. They also charge a $100 deposit you get back 3-5 days after check out which is not advertised upon booking

We liked our room; it was clean and had enough space with updated decor. The list of things we didn’t like is much longer…. 1. The elevator was broken ….. we were only on the second floor so you would think that’s not a big deal….WRONG! The only way to get there was to go to the end of the hall, go outside, use those stairs, and come in thru a door that says “this door is always locked”. The problem…. The area has a lot of transient ppl walking around and thru the property and now they have access. The area where the stairs were was very secluded and creepy. 2. The breakfast was kinda typical, nothing fancy, but they started cleaning up and putting stuff away 25 mins before the end. Some ppl came and the only left was coffee. 3. The parking lot and property seemed unsafe. There was a huge hole in the parking lot that could easily damage someone’s car if they didn’t swerve around it. There were a few bright lights but not in the far corner where the hole was. 4. Last, it just doesn’t seem right when my 11 year old daughter asks, “ what’s that disgusting smell?” Every hallway smelled like marijuana. I don’t care what ppl do but it was really bad. Thank god it didn’t linger into the room. Anyway, I will not ever stay here again.

This property was a Gem. Very clean very nice and comfortable. The only downside was the area felt unsafe. It is a city so I can’t fault them for where they are. If you are comfortable staying in this area I would define stay at this property
