BONITO LUGAR CON ALGUNAS DEFICIENCIAS

LO BUENO: El hotel esta muy bonito, tiene mucha naturaleza. Es antiguo pero le dan mantenimiento. La habitacion es comoda y con buena vista. Tiene un equipo de animación muy bueno que hacen tu estancia muy entretenida y divertida. buenos espectáculos por las noches. La mayoría del personal es amable aunque siempre le dan preferencia a los extranjeros. Cuentan con un restaurante bufet que ofrece muy buena variedad de comida y los meseros son amables. LO NO TAN BUENO : El piso del baño es super resbaloso y no ponen un tapete para evitar caídas. Tienen un restaurante francés que no ofrece platillos franceses. Tienen un restaurante japones de mediana calidad. LO MALO: Imposible bañarse en el mar por la inmensa cantidad de sargazo.

Fun spot

We booked last minute during July which had lots of seaweed but we spent most of our time in the pool so we were fine. I’m positive they keep the beach very clean once seaweed season is over. The hotel could use a little updating but honestly I would book again. The food at all restaurants was very good and drinks were good. The pool activities were lots of fun. My room was very comfortable and clean and perfectly located to restaurants and pool (bldg 18) I have no complaints

We recently stayed at Ocean Maya Royale and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff were very kind, friendly, and attentive—especially in the dining areas. Their service made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. However, the property itself felt outdated, both in terms of aesthetics and amenities. While it was clean and well-maintained, it didn’t live up to the rating or photos we had seen beforehand. The dining areas were not air-conditioned, which made meals uncomfortable in the heat. Our room was minimally furnished—it felt more like a place to sleep than a space to relax or unwind. The shower also needs an upgrade, both in design and function. Overall, the warmth of the staff stood out, but the property could benefit from renovations and better alignment between the online presentation and the actual experience.

Me and my husband paid extra, for the privilege experience. Let’s just say we didn’t receive privilege experience at all. So much misinformation, misunderstanding, lack of communication regarding dinner reservations and other activities we were entitled to. We arrived July 8th, and our butler Allein did not come to introduce himself until our third day on the resort. Spoke with other couples, who butler’s came looking for them the same, or next day. I will just say, we will never return again! THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE EVERYDAY. The Japanese restaurant, was the best. We made reservations, and we were told the wrong dinner reservation time and it was like no one cared. We will not be returning, I would never recommend this resort. Highly disappointed for paying extra and didn’t even leave happy.

The property was good, it was nice to have the privilege aspect. However, at the privilege beach, drinks were hard to get. The food over all was good. David our butler was amazing. It was a good property. No serious complaints. Enjoyed the trip!

Everything was really nice the room and the resort. The only thing was they were dealing with a lot of sargasum when we went and the beach was not nice. Everything else was wonderful.

Yo y mi esposo AMAMOSSSS todo. La comida riquísima, la atención buenisima. Las actividades, la cafetería, todo todo todo muy muy bueno. Era nuestra primera vez en Cancún y la primera vez de mi esposo in an all inclusive and we honestly loved it and can’t wait to come back. I think it will be an annual trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Maya. The grounds were very well kept and the staff was excellent. There were enough food options to have something different each night. I would visit again.
