“Arenal Hot Springs: The Ideal Costa Rica Escape”

Our stay at the Arenal Hot Springs in La Fortuna was absolutely amazing. Every morning we woke up to breathtaking views of the volcano right outside our window—it felt surreal. The private hot tub in the room was exactly what we needed for relaxation, and having access to the hot springs on-site was so convenient after long days of exploring. The restaurant was wonderful—the food was fresh, flavorful, and served in a beautiful setting. We also loved how close the property was to all the adventure activities. Zip-lining, excursions, and nature tours were just minutes away, and the town of La Fortuna with its great restaurants and shopping was only a 15-minute drive. Between the views, the comfort, and the unbeatable location, this place exceeded all expectations. I definitely plan to return—it’s a true gem in Costa Rica. 🌴💦

Fue muy linda la estancia en el hotel, únicamente encuentro que la habitación al ser una suite podría contar con mayores amenidades que permitan disfrutar, por ejemplo, no había crema corporal de calidad, solo botes de plásticocomo los que ponen en hoteles económicos y a mi me tocó uno ya usado, tampoco tienen aguas de cortesía, entiendo que se puede tomar de la llave pero unas botellas de cortesía estaría bien o al menos una botella de vidrio para rellenar y servir en vasos :) de ahí en fuera todo excelente, solo pienso en una sugerencia de comodidad y mejora.

Amazing hotel. The rooms were huge and the hot tub with the volcano view is breathtaking. The staff was top notch. Very peaceful hotel and restaurant, pool, and hot spring were clean and relaxing. Only thing I can say negative was if you're on the first floor you can hear the above floor. Would stay here again.

We were there for our 25th anniversary for 5 nights. Our room was set up for this romantic occasion with a welcome champagne and delicious charcuterie treat. We got to see the majestic Arenal volcano close-up from our room whenever the sky cleared up. The resort staffs went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, starting with booking several excursions tours, spa services, romantic dinner and awesome complimentary fruits basket. I can’t thank enough for the amazing treatments we received.

The property is beautiful with amazing views of Arenal from all rooms and the pool deck, main restaurant, etc. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. And the staff is wonderful. They all made sure to learn our names and greet us at every occasion. The only things I'd call out for improvement is that there is not much variety for dinner options, particularly at the grill where there's a set sharing menu, the pathways could be better lit and not being able to flush toilet paper was an unpleasant surprise, but one that I suspect is less optional than it is due to the plumbing conditions.

You cannot beat the views from the property. Staff was super friendly and food was really good. They have a good breakfast with variety of options. It is about 10 minutes from town so you would need a car or to get a taxi every time you go. Ubers are cheaper. Room was great and spacious, my kids loved the jacuzzi in the room. The only downside is that the tv is out of date and small.

Beautiful location and very eco friendly. Exceptional hot springs connected with hotel that can be used by guests as well as on site hot springs. Lovely view of the volcano, amazing in room hot tub. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing view of Arenal volcano! The grounds were magnificent! The food was excellent, best salmon Ive had at the main restaurant. We had great massages, loved the hot springs and truly a great experience all around. Great location to all the fun things!
