Check in was easy and friendly, staff were very kind and conversational.
Rooms are definitely dated, but it has no impact on the comfort of your stay. Or, it didn't for mine. The curtains completely blocked out what would have otherwise been what seemed like a spotlight shining across from another building, and the in-room jacuzzi tub filled in what seemed like no time at all.
Once I got my bearings, I realized what a good location it is -- very close to Clifton Hill but far enough away to not hear it at all when I was in my room. A three minute walk to a Starbucks, which was empty weekday mornings.
I walked everywhere I went, down to Horseshoe Falls, the boat tour, and the Bird Kingdom. It was very doable, and nice knowing my room was just a short walk away from wherever I was.
I'd happily stay here again next time I travel to Niagara Falls.
